ARR saved him in Taal...take out ARRs music and put some Nadeem Shravan or Anu Malik stuff in it and imagine guys...even Ghai wont be able to imagine...
I am surprised to read Karz was a flop. I always have felt Karz to be his best. Have not seen Kisna. After Yaadien lost faith in him! I feel he is adapting himself to the times - Pardes on lines of DDLJ, Kisna - must be inspire d by Lagaan, now a terrorism movie - which all directors have made. I think he is outdated. Better he retires soon after giving one hit.
After watching kisna i felt that the movie could have succeeded had the male lead been different. Vivek oberoi was the weakest link in the movie. That role should have been done by someone like Salman khan. This is what I felt at that time and Salman did indeed go on to do such a role demanding tragic emoting & sacrifice etc in that movie with Bhoomika chawla; I can't recall its name! ;)
Yesterday, I had to watch Black and White when nothing else was available. And as I feared, it turned out to be what I was expecting - another blunder!
Subhash Ghai has past his sell-by date. If he makes a movie, it will only turn out to be a Trimurti, or Kisna, or yea.. a Black and White. Ridiculous movies!
All these movies can make a statue vomit. Do not dare watch any of these movies!
Kisna was actually a gine film; i enjoiyed it very much. The music was exquisite, Vivek is always very, very good. The actress from abroad did a wonderful job too. The lovers not coming together, and uniting lovelessly with other partners though, left a hole in the heart (just like it happened with Silsila)and that could have been a reason it was rejected. Surekha
i have heard the interview of rakhi sawant she rated sanjay leela bhanshali, karan johar rakesh roshan but when asked about subhash ghai she said he is not a good person, now what she meant by that. i am confused
