i recently watched it in Zee kannada. I was thinking it will not be a good movie but actually the movie was so good that i did not leave a single scene. Hats off to soori for a realistic story and nowhere i can find a flaw. I will watch all soori's movies. Where can we get a CD or DVD of this movie??
This movie is absolutely brilliant. Hard work from each department makes this movie a top class movie. Lead artist Krishna breathes life into the character of a drunkard painter. I never expected such a terrific performance from him. RangaayaNa raghu and Kishore have provided an excellent performance. Sonu and Bhavana also have given very good performance. Sadhu Kokila has provided mellifluous music. Lyrics of the songs are so meaningful and gel so well with the movie. Cinematography by Satya Hegde is just marvelous.
Coming to director Soori, he is simply amazing. I really wonder how comes up with these kind of stories and dialogues. He narrates the story so well and the kind of ambience he creates for the scenes in the movie is so natural. I really appreciate the courage of Soori for not treading the usual path of masala movies with the run of the mill love/action/comedy scenes and playing it safe. The best part of the movie is it conveys a message to the society and that too so effectively. Nowadays, it is very rare to see this kind of message oriented movies. Climax of the movie is simply superb.
There are no boring moments in the movie and the narration is so effecitve that audience feel as if they are also part of the story.
A wonderful movie not to be missed. Hats off to Soori for his outstanding work. I would rate this movie four and a half out of five.
No wonder if this movie bags a few state and national awards this year.
I have observed that this reviewer tells the complete story and steals the curiocity from viewers. Please do not do so. Especially the death of any character. U did that even with duniya.
This movie is good. Actually better than what is written here. You can watch for brilliant performance from all lead actors and camera work. It is lot better than other stereotyped commercially (?) inclined movies. It can make you nostalgic. Don't go to theatre expecting some Mills and Boons story.

completely agree with above comment,its more like an autobiography and lot different than any movies you see..suri is one director unlike anyone..
