हे अवघड काम साध्य करण्यात निर्माते श्रेयस-दीप्ती तळपदे आणि दिग्दर्शक राजीव पाटील यांना यश आलंय. या सिनेमातली काही दृश्‍यं वाजवीपेक्षा भडक दाखविली गेली असली तरी खऱ्या अर्थानं हा आजच्या पिढीचा सिनेमा आहे. "मॅरेज ब्युरो'च्या नावाखाली लग्नाचा मांडलेला बाजार आणि कुमारी मातृत्वाची समस्या या चित्रपटात खूप वेगळ्या आणि प्रभावीपणे मांडण्यात आलीय. संजय पवार यांच्या लेखणीनं तरुणाईची नेमकी भाषा अधोरेखित केलीय; मात्र काही प्रसंगांमध्ये त्यांची लेखणी अनावश्‍यक धारदार झालीय. सई ताम्हणकर, सुबोध भावे, संतोष जुवेकर या त्रिकुटाचा जमलेला अभिनय, अवधूत गुप्तेचं संगीत आणि उत्तम निर्मिती मूल्यांच्या जोरावर हा सिनेमा चांगला जमलाय.

हा सिनेमा म्हणजे सईच्या (सई ताम्हणकर) आयुष्यातली अनेक वेडीवाकडी वळणं आहेत. वडील नसल्यामुळं सईची आईच तिला बेळगावसारख्या ठिकाणी वाढवते. कॉलेजमध्ये असताना सईला तिच्या स्वप्नातला राजकुमार (श्रेयस तळपदे) भेटतो; मात्र त्याची साथ तिला फार काळ लाभत नाही. आईच्या मृत्यूमुळे सई आपल्या पुण्यातल्या लग्न झालेल्या बहिणीकडे (शिल्पा तुळसकर) राहायला येते; मात्र तिच्या जिजाजींना अमेरिकेतली नोकरी मिळाल्यामुळे सईच्या लग्नासाठी घाई सुरू होते.

पूर्वी विवाहबाह्य संबंधातून होणारी गडबड "मैं तुम्हारे बच्चे की मॉं बननेवाली हूँ' या संवादावर येऊन थांबे. हा सिनेमा त्याच्या एक पाऊल पुढं गेलाय. यातली नायिका आपल्या नायकाला हा गुळगुळीत संवाद न ऐकवता "माझे पिरीयडस्‌ चुकलेत' असं म्हणताना दाखविलीय. हे एक उदाहरण असून असे आणखी काही संवाद या सिनेमाला आजच्या काळाशी "रीलेट' करण्यात यशस्वी ठरलेत. या जमेच्या बाजू असताना काही त्रुटीही राहून गेल्यात. सुबोध भावेच्या व्यक्तिरेखेचा प्रवास ज्या दिशेनं दाखविण्यात आलाय, त्या दिशेचा शेवट सईच्या आयुष्यापाशी येऊन थांबणार, याची आधीच कल्पना आलेली असते. त्यामुळे त्यानं "क्‍लायमॅक्‍स'ला दिलेला "जोर का धक्का' पाहणाऱ्याला "धीरे से' लागण्याची शक्‍यता आहे.

Now a days people don't like films with social issues.. they like mindless comedies from Bollywood...
Koni changla kahi karaayla gela tari paay khechle jataat tyache.... Ha Daajiba kondke jar marathi asel, tar hee shokantika ahe ki... Marathi manusach marathi mansache paay odhto...
marathi films are back in action. I saw this film today in pune and the crowd enjoyed the film .its a light hearted film but focussed on a sensitive topic of marriage. Rajeev Sir, a very well made film, Avdhoot - excellent music, shreyas - a well produced film.
The film was house pack today. Watch it in multiplex...its a multiplex film.
It is a very different film, a social topic being core of the script. I have been a avid film watcher for over 15 tears and this is one of the best films in terms of content, direction and packaging.
Avdhoot is amazing so is juvekar and sai. The direction is very good. The film is tight and it keeps you in the film. Some of the shots are amazingly shoot...
I do not agree with the reviewer. I saw the film today and its a fantastic film - can't beleive its marathi film. The film is fast paced, young and the subject is handled with sensitivity. Its a Director's film - he has shown his class in the way he has handled the subject. CAST is fantastic, music rocks and is appropriately choosen.
WORTH your Money. Every one enjoys it. Film will attract more producers like MUKTA....surely.
