I am also from Mahe, Pondicherry. I have also seen all his films. I didn't find anything extra orfdinary in his films. These stories are all of similar to the Malayalam films of 50s !!!

Good Will
Shyamalan - You are the best!!!!

I have loved watching your all the movies. They have certain charecteristics which makes it more unique, Indian like movies. Your movies make me or us feel that an Indian wherever he goes he has something in it or something that he does has the Indian flavoour to it.

What I mean is, thrillers are made in US by US directors, but they lack the emotional touch as you provide them in your movies along with thriller, that makes you a unique director, ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE!!!!!. That for me, those emotional touches, makes me believe that can come only from an Indian origin director.

Apart from the great movie The sixth sense, One movie worth mentioning is the UNBREAKABLE, I think that was truly a different kind of subject to handle. We always grow up reading comics and every child believes his father is greatest man in the world. I was truly amazed to find how excellently you handled that story line in that movie. The other part handled was for every good part that in the world there is equal negative part. The third part how the male protagonist leaves his career as is a footballer to be with his love, cause true love could never be found again. I just loved the them of the movie. It is worth mentioning cause I know that movie didnt made weel in the Box office collection, But that was incredible only few could understand I guess. It was a masterpiece.

You are the best!!! You are just amazing!!!!!

Guys... come on... He is just born in India... if had lived in India, defintely he might not have gone to this extent..
Dont consider him or Kalpana chawla as indians.. we shdnt be proud of them at all..
be proud of kalam, sania, sachin or someone like that... but not these guys...
read his recent interview. you will know how much he knows abt india.. almost nothing..
