All Big Muslim actors are trying to side line Hindu actor backed IIFA
by Rohit Singh on Jun 09, 2008 10:12 AM  | Hide replies

Shahrukh, Salman and Amir are not so keen to be at IIFA as it's a hindu actor dominated award function.

He will do anything for Farah Khan's personal party but by not going in IIFA he shows his attitude towards Hindu actors. He must have got phone for the same from the Catholic Queen Sonia.

Zee Cine Award is a home affair of Shahrukh Khan.

by Ranvir Kumar on Jun 08, 2008 03:22 PM  | Hide replies

SARKAR RAJ SEEMS LIKE A DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO SOMEHOW SELL THEIR FILM AS A PACKAGE DEAL. 90% OF BACHANS FILMS SINCE KBC INCLUDING BHOOTNATH HAVE BEEN RELEGATED TO THE DUSTBIN..COMPLETE DISASTERS. AS FOR CHHOTA BACHAN OR MILKSHAKE BACHAN . LESS SAID THE BETTER …EVEN EMRAN HASHMI HAS A BETTER TRACK RECORD IN EVERY SENSE.. @ THIS RATE THE PARIVAAR WILL GO INTO OBLIVION IN A COUPLE OF YEARS FROM NOW.. MAYBE THEY SHOULD JOIN CHAMCHA AMAR SINGH’S PARTY WHILE THERE IS STILL SOME BRAND VALUE LEFT…

As an actor Amitabh is the only shine in this family. But gosh Small B & Ash is hopeless. Neither they have any success in Bolywood as per film concern nor they have any status in Bollywood. If we look at their career than we can see taht only 2-3 films of Ash became successful. Salman said wrightly once that Ash used salman to go up in Bollywood then reject him & join Bachhan family to stay there. Because she know that apart from beauty she does not have anything to stay there. She is shame for women community. And small B is like DOODH PITA BACHHA who only can live this life with help of his parent. Another shame on Bollywood. Now Jaya B. She once was thrown from parliament for using her post for own profit. So how she become good human??? And last but not list Mr. Big B. May be he is a good actor but he also involved with many wrong incident like owning land by the name of farmer. And then playing politics in Bollywood.
It is the Big B who started to play politics in Bollywood. First of all he played with own friend like Shatrughna Sinha then Mithun Da and now with Khans. Mithun Da himself admitted that in Agnipath how Big B plays game with him to decrease his role. Because Mithun Da is far more superior actor than BigB. If u dont agree with me than please watch "Tahader Katha". He won National Award several time. And now when Big B started to play game with Khans to improve his son's career then Khans bonce back and taught him a lesson.

Are you joking? How and when did Mithunda became a better actor than Amitabh.I can understand how biased you are when you mentioned Mithunda is better actor than Amitabh. And about Shatru,it is always Shatru who has been playing with Amitabh not the other way round.I don't know with what preconceived notions you people write about Amitabh. He is the pride of India.Highly modest about his success.A very decent Superstar till date.I can bet this.Just winning national award is not sufficient,it is necessary that the actor should be accepted universally. That i think there is no other actor in India who has been accepted universally except for "Kamal".Sorry boss to say this but this is my view.I know what all that you have written above is also your view. There are no hard feelings here.

Thanks for ur view. But I want to tell one thing about Mithun Da that do not judge his acting talent by those his c grade film. Ever u watch Mithun Da's sensible films like Kalpurush, Tahader Katha and many more. Still the sensible director like Mrinal Sen, Buddhadeb Dasgupta, Shyam Benegal cast him in their film. Because like Kamal Mithun Da also one of the best acting talent we have in hour country. But we always under estimate him. Did u see Guru??? Even Amitabh told that no one carry the role that way like Mithun Da. He was brilliant. We always run behind Amitabh because he is commercialy more succsessful. But look at others. You will see what an actor Mithun Da is???

You lost all the credibility by putting Midhun ahead of Amitabh. There are many talented actors in India, especially in regional cenema who are not well known. That doesnt make them bigger than AB. Ab is a super star and a great actor.

Midhun is an ugly guy who is a womanizer and can only appeal to the front benchers. yes, he has done few good roles, but he has done truck load of crap. He is a cheap womanizer who has taken unknown south B grade heroines only for one purpose. He doesnt have the charishma or personality of BIG B. This is just like comparing cheese and chalk.

Having said all these, I guess Amitabh has been exposed in all the controversies he is involved in. A fake farmer, someone who cribs around on his blog and who will promote any cheap product for money. He lost a fair bit of respect, and his habbit of moving around and acting with his family is getting really boring.

Big B is the greatest movie actor of all time, Small B will be the dominant lead man in Bollywood for many decades. Ash is the most beautiful woman on earth. Jaya is a great actor and a greatly admired politician. These Khans are paupers next to Bachchans. They are envious. They are green with envy.

Amitab is a mere actor. My idea is not to defame them, but a Nobel Laureate has to be millions times revered and appreciated than any actor.

That's the problem in India, people are too fuzzed with media/cinema and great scientists/ the one who work hard (in ISRO/NAL) are not known by public.

How may of we Indians know CR Rao?
Every one knows a actor but not a deserving scientist. I did read long back that Amitab and CR Rao were given Doctorate @ the same time by one University and media/common people were moving towards to the actor to get autograph, no one really bothered about the scientist.
This is shame, not what I mentioned earlier
Unless we know and read about great Indian scientists, will this country become a developed country. Those technical minds are the one, going to help India. Cinema is an auxillary thing, and we Indians tend to make the primary stuff.
This is true not only for Amitab but for any actor.
Good luck, guys

Nice post. I feel that even in politics, we should put in the criterion of at least 10 years of teaching /research experience. They are least corrupt people and will think well for this country. But, alas.... who will put this rule (Aakhir, Billi ke gale me ghanti kaun bandhe...)

I have to disagree with your measure of 'greatness'. Yes, our brilliant scientists should be revered and honored for their contribution to developing India. But you are biased as hell. What exactly do you mean by 'mere actor'? Forget Amitabh, he is a corrupt guy. But would you call Shabana Azmi or Om Puri a mere actor, or Shyam Benegal or Aparna Sen 'mere directors' or God forbid, Satyajit Ray? They have contributed to our nation by bringing attention to social issues in a way that shows reality subtly, that makes people think and wanting to make a difference. It affects souls. If some youngster tomorrow exposes corruption inspired by Rang De Basanti, would you pooh pooh that too? Any field has their set of briliant people. Not everybody is scientifically gifted, but then again not everybody has the finer skills that art requires. I am not talking about these superstars, but about real actors. There may be many good actors who know nothing about science, and likewise many brilliant scientists that know jack about art and cinema. Anybody who is technically gifted but has no artistic inclination will show similar attitude as you: to write off that which you do not understand yourself as 'auxiliary'. Why can't technically brilliant people admit that there are certain things they just can't do without showing a higher-than-thou attitude? As long as our country continues to look down on any kind of intelligence save the hard scientific kind, our mental makeup will be lacking.

is amitabh just an actor? isnt he responsible for bringing righteousness into indian public
for being angry young man amongst corrupt villians.
amitabh has done his bit, he really deserves the accolades.
cinema ALWAYS is best medium for NATIONALITY AND RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE AMONGST PUBLIC.

He has given so much to the Indian sub-continent that I can't see what they will do without him. Everybody wants to take pot-shots at them so that they'll be mentioned on his blog. That'll give them the 15 min of fame they so desperately crave. The mindset in India and the mindset abroad are soooooooooo different. What looks fabolous to us outside of India always comes acress as publicity stunt or and eye soar to those within India. Such a shame.
