Curious, I checked out the lecture video quoted by the reviewer, on You Tube. Really inspirational. Must watch lecture. You Tube has actually allowed a video of duration more than an hour.

Yep, the movie is great as well :-)

Wonderful movie

I saw this movie 2 months back at IMAX in US. I must say, it is one of the most wittiest animation movies I have seen. The story is simple, but interesting. The panda is really cute. Its worth a watch...kids and elders, all will like this movie.

i always fail to understand why indians lack creative ability when compared to americans or chinese?......indian films have always been copycats of hollywood films....indians just remain average people in an average political systems of india.....but if these average indians goes to america, they will shine greater than in india...

You idiot Kalyan Ram, do you even know how many Hollywood movies are remakes or rip offs of movies made in other countries ?
Do you know how many Hollywood movies released recently are sequels, prequels, trilogies of cheap CGI driven mindless action stuff ?
Please dont talk about things you dont know and make yourself look like a typical ignorant Indian.

It pays more to copy than to spend that money on creative talent. It's about profit. There are many creative Indians, we just don't use them properly.

I feel what he wants to say is that only through Cartoon a criminal can change his views and beome so engrossed that he would denounce his criminal traits and be reformed as a cartoonist..

hey dudes...whats up???are u here to ballantly attack others??see not every body knows such splendid QUEEN'S english or AMERICAN lingo as yours. Bhavna o ko samjho...Languages are only means of communicating one's feelings...
have a ncie day

..what he is trying to say is that human beings of all ages like cartoons as much as they like to breathe for living.. [a profound statement i must add. Vijay must be die-hard cartoon lover.]
then he adds .. cartoon world can have so much captivating influence on criminals that they can themselves turn into cartoonist if they try hard enough..

..thus completes my thesis in the interpretation of the famous comment on rediff message board.. and i take a bow..

cheers.

Brilliant
by sandy willi menon on Jul 11, 2008 05:16 PM

After ages, there is a movie for all age group. The flow of the movie is awesome and especially dreamworks has come out with an excellent animated movie which will be remembered forever! i mean the characters looks so real, especially Po.His antics, his expressions are simply superb. Also not to forget Jack black's voiceover,He is top form! The fight sequences & the PO's training sequences are awesome! Watch out for the training sequence between Shifu & PO, Hilarious!!
Personally for me i would give 5/5
but if there are any minuses, i would say the voiceover's by Jackie Chan & Lucy liu,I mean they did a good job in whatever they had but then The creators could have used more of 'em though they are in for quite visual appearances.
