Madhavan is a lot betten actor than SRK regardless what the nickname you'll call him. He plays a variety of roles and isn't stuck to any sort of imagage as opposed to SRK who can't escape his pseudoromantic pigeonhole. Well, I can see he sometimes tries to do sth different but with the exception of Chak de! India (and his negative roles in the early 1990s), his attempts are box-office flops so he returns to his old tricks. Madhavan plays positive and negative roles, stars in both art and commercial cinema, changes his image and voice in variety of roles. He's simply a much more versatile actor. Although he is a star of his own, he's more of an actor than a star. SRK is a nice person, but he's just a big star, not a good actor.
Maha has always copied SRK, as have most of the south indian actors. So its only natural for Maha to remake this and get noticed. Anyway Yes Boss was not a hit film back in 1997, It was average to above average. Rediff stop exaggerating abt SRK's films. Also Yess Boss was a COPY OF Jack Lemmon's film, The Appartment, where Jack Lemon's. That was a classic, Yess boss, like most Aziz Mirza films, was average film with average business.
madhavan is a much better actor than SRK.dont insult maddys natural acting by comparing him to SRK who hams & overacts.SRK is one of the worst actors we have.he is only better than ashmit patel.

I think it is a bad decision for madhavan to remake SRK jokers movie. Its a shame to the whole south india.
rediff doesnt even do its homework properly.maddys 1st film was RHTDM not ramji londonwale.RHTDM did average business at the box office & definitely wasnt a flop.it had super hit music which is played on radio stations till date.
Madhavan is anycase known as SRK from south and his acting style also kind of like SRK. I am sure he will do good justice to this funny movie Yes Boss. All the Best Maddy!
