THE TITLE SONG "SING IS KING" IS A STRAIGHT LIFT from a tune of film "Geraftar" ( with Amitabh as hero). The song started with "Yaar ke qurbaan aaj yaar aye hain." The lifted part is "Ayomeer ayomeer ayomeer" tuned by Bappi Lahiri. A straight lift by Pritam.

This movie shud rock with Akshay. And the songs seem to be of the dance variety and for its genre might be good.
Raja Sen is a busy man these days.....reviewing 2 movies a week and now a days couple of music reviews too....phew!!!
Album seems to be masala, fun, dance numbers like partner , welcome , etc......so shud be fun even though it may not have many everlasting numbers.... Glad Raja has reviewed the album in its genre....else i wouldn't expect Raja to rate this album well as its commercial fare.... Yet to hear other songs (apart from title) but they should be rocking.... !!!
The movie should be the years first BIG Superhit.....Akshay Kumar Rocks!!! and so does Anees Bazmee with last 2 superhits.....and combining with Vipul Shah as producer (of 'aankhen', 'namastey london' , 'waqt' fame) , this should be a treat for all tyopes of audiences , expect maybe not the very serious/arty only types....
