WTF
by on Feb 02, 2008 09:27 PM

omg...who cares about what he did in the past. the man is dead. why do we have to continue speculating about what brought him to his fate? he is dead and the media should let it rest - anything to make money - this is all part of their business - we should turn off our televisions and rip up the news stands. he was a fine actor and that's all we should be privied to knowing - his personal life is his and his only.

So what if he smoked some pot?
by on Feb 01, 2008 12:09 AM

First of all I think they're misinterpreting what he's saying. I believe he smoked 5 joints a day (and who the hell cares) but I think he either said for two years or for 10 years. Cuz if you think about it, smoking pot for 20 years means that, since the video was taken in 2006, he would've been smoking pot since he was 6 years old. And thats only if "used to" means he stopped within the last few days or something. Honestly people - that's just not possible. Everyone's getting all bent outta shape about him using drugs, and to find out the only proof they have is him saying he did some pot? Honestly who, especially in Hollywood, hasn't smoked some pot? It's as socially acceptable there as having a few beers. Granted he did it a little more than he should've in my opinion, it doesn't mean he's a druggie. Why do people insist on making up negative shit about this man after his death? While his family is devastated, they have to have ignorant people pry into their lives and ask these stupid questions. Let the toxicology reports come through before you jump to any conclusions about his lifestyle. As far as I'm concerned, if it wasn't in his system upon his death, then it wasn't a problem. And no matter what, he was still a good person and he deserves to rest in peace, and his family deserves to grieve privately in peace.

This is stupid

Let me get this straight- this is news because Heath Ledger is in a room where OTHER people are snorting cocaine? And because he said he USED to smoke pot??? BFD.
Who in Los Angeles working in entertainment has not been at a party where someone was using drugs?
It would be cruel to air this if Heath were using cocaine on tape. As it stands it just idiotic...

I completely agree. Watch the video. At no point do you see Heath Ledger take drugs nor do you see him go near the tabel where the alleged drugs were on. He says in the tape "I USED to smoke 5 spliffs a day for 20 years". At no point does he say he does smoke 5 spliffs a day. Thousands of people across the world smoke 5 spliffs if not more a day and they are not hauled over the coals for it, but because he was famous he is persecuted. It's disgusting and wrong. Just let the mans memory rest in peace.

Nobody is perfect not even you guys who keep draging his name through the mud with all your gossip. Think of his loved ones especially Matilda and the rest of his family and friends and all of those who loved this amazing and natural actor, loving and kind father, son, brother and our star. Let his loved ones grieve in peace and stop with the stories.
Rest in Peace Heath!

For a man who Loved his daughter so much, just let him be. We will never know what was in his mind on that fateful day. Drugs, Alcohol, what ever the case may be he is gone and there is nothing that can change that now. he will be missed by everyone. Heath will watch over Matilda in a different way now, and may Michelle raise her knowing what a truly amazing father she had who loved her so very much!

drugs and alcohol doesn't change who you are as a person, and now its too late but maybe if th press didnt always follow you everywere maybe all the stars would be under the influence on alcohol on floating on cloud nine but it never changes the real you only the reputation you have

Discusting and all of the above!
by on Jan 31, 2008 08:23 PM

This is so much more than discusting. We love him and that will not change no matter what you people gossip about him. He is a good human being, a loving father, a son, a brother and our STAR. His loved ones have been through enough and are still trying to cope. Can\'t you people just backoff with these accusations and stop trying to dirty his reputation. We all know that nobody is perfect.....Not even you! You make me sick.

Respect????????
by on Jan 31, 2008 08:18 PM

My son is the same age as Heath and I feel so deep for his family. This is a totally cruel thing to do to such a lovely young man whom has lost his life. I would like to know how you would feel if in the same situation as his family to have the life of their son/father/brother slandered in such a terrible disrespectful way. I know Heath gave me enjoyment in his talented acting and it saddens me that he has departed at such a young age. Matilda has to grow up without her daddy and all she will know is what she sees on TV and from the people that knew him don't you get it? she has been stripped of the joys and love she would have had from her father and you seem hell bent in making it harder for her. Also what about his parents? How dare you trivialize their grief with such trash. This is a sad and cruel world when somebody dies and all you do is look for dirt under every rock. I have read from the ones that knew and loved him he was a kind hearted and lovely person. I couldn%u2019t put you or anybody else that would say such terrible things in the same class. You should remove this and give him the respect he earned as an actor and a person. Also an apology to his family is very much needed. Leave them to grieve in peace knowing he was the lovely son they raised.
