Lets talk of national movies only. dont mention regional movies. Indian film industry is identified with the film industry in Mumbai named Bollywood not Tollywood,Kollywood, Mollywood etc. Regional movies are not even viewed in the state itself. Overseas also only people belonging to that region watch those movies. That does not mean the regional movie has acclaimed International fame. For instance Shivaji was a huge hit in Malaysia and Japan YY?? because there is a huge Tamil population live in these countries.
Please come out from regional mindset and think India as a nation like Shahrukh said in Chak De
