i disagree with the reviewer to a great extent.... has he lost the plot? - Big No. yes, there are a few sequences in the first half that could have had been different. But they all meant sense. Authenticity of the obsessive relationship- I again disagree with the reviewer, a person from a joint family background will have seen this all. Confusing? - I again disagree. We do not expect to be spoon fed. I really liked the way, he discloses the story. You have to rewatch if you are really confused. Nenapirali was a very good example: with every rewatch, the plot becomes clearer.
In all, I would say this is a very sensitive subject and a very sesitive movie. Not the crowd puller. And not for everyone.

Way to go Mr.Ajay Gowda!!!You are right."HONGANASU" is a film which every genuine movie lover will be proud of.Its sensitive,thought-provoking and beautiful.Each and every frame speaks about the hard work put in by the entire cast and crew.Its original[Not a remake movie-which has been a bane for kannada film industry]fresh and innovative.The songs are melodious and carry the story forward.Its a clean neat family entertainer.Mr.Ajay,We are with you.Please continue to believe in these kind of movies and give us maany more.Great job and KUDOS TO THE ENTIRE TEAM OF "HONGANASU"

who wrote this review .where you chating with your freinds when you saw this .sit and watch the movie properly ,be alert this time.this is not funny .how can you misguide people like this.dont you have any sentiments.it proves because you havent felt for the charecters.mr rathnaja has been relly good in conveying the relationships .we all came out so happy .no where in indian cinema have they shown the relationship between a sis-in-law and a brother in-law so aptly which is next to mother and son .language they have used is so clean and pure.probably you dont understand classy kannada.learn the language and watch the movie
Definitely this movie deserves 3 stars. All the artists have performed very well. Cinematography is of top class. The scenic beauty shown in the movie is stunning. First half of the movie is too good. This movie is really worth watching for all the efforts put by director, Ratnaja. But the movie makers shouldn't have released this movie on the same day when the most expected movie of the year, gaaLipata was released. They should have delayed the release atleast by one week. I wish honganasu movie gets the success it deserves.

I completely agree with Harish,i think the movie deserves at least 3 stars.Excellent cinematography,good performances and clean dialogues what more can one expect.I dont think the release date should be an issue, our audiences these days are more matured and will appriciate a good movie.I think in the comming days the success of this movie will prove it.
