Aishwarya made her debut in a Tamil movie Iruvar and Deepika made her debut in a Kannada movie called Aishwarya. Both are south Indians hailing from Mangalore district in Karnataka, it will be an honor to work with a superstar like Rajnikanth, his movies are mega ventures, entertainment to the best!

FYI. They all are indian too. By the way rajni asked to convey that it is an honor for him too. One more thing he has ordered a new designer dentures, next movie his teeth would be more white.

If any of these actresses are looking for a real role and character they shouldnt do it, becos Rajni films are all about him and his stupid stunts. Mind it!!!! Though among the two choices, Deepika is right for it. The reason is simple, she has seen a ridiculous part of how the movie will end up being in Om shanti Om where she watches Shahrukh doing a Tamil film shoot. Hilariously true to rajni films. So to say it she has the experience and has probably overcome the shock. Mind it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am confused, whn srk appeard on a stage program entertainin cricketeers recently. He called sreesanth and told him tht wht foreign lang. in oso he used was malayalam. So which dialogues he used for imitating rajinikanth-malayalam or tamil. Also, farah khan mentioned in an intrview he imitated kamal hassan. Seriously,it ws srk who ws ridiculas in not knowing which tamil actor he imitated.
Young actress like to be in fame.They like to act with vetrans.There are 100's of them looking for fame.Eg: A boss of big company even though married and old young gals fell for him.Gals and position are realted. Any doubts!!!

Look mate from your conversation I know you are young.This is the high time for you.What I have studied from abroad is when abroad be like abroad and when in India strict morality.That can even jump your position very high above than your senior Indian collegues.
1- The lady love of 57 years, icon of south should be matured enough (both my active and face) to go well along.
2- My dear north indians, who always write against rajni may be due to jelous, should understand that the reason behing rajni/shankar looking for a gaal from north: NOTHING MORE THAN MARKETING THE FILM IN NORTH. At any cost, south is not running out of cute and good actress: Asin, Trisha, Nayanthara, Shriya, meera jasmin, sneha, etc. Rather we have a heritage of exporting good heroines, whom went to rule the bollywood industry over years: Hemamalini, rekha and Sridevi.

Dear Arjun, By the way does Tamils wearing Lungi hurts you ? Also I am sure the 9 crore Tamil diaspora doesn't need lectures from you on how to look at the world in a wider perspective !! They are a sea faring community than many others for atleast 2000 years.

Thats y the South Indian cities Chennai,Bangalore,Hyderabad are developing 500% than Mumbai,Delhi,kolkata. North cities stopped its growth by nature.

in Hollywood actors as old as Jack Nicholson, Al Pacino etc can date a 20 something actress & thats ok for you guys but not in bollywood? Plus i don;t think ShahRukh is any younger.. he looked so darn old with Deepika in OSO so Rajni is no different.

Agreed. These actress are not getting anything from acting in rajini's movie since its all about him. Instd, actress get fame and money, thts it and more directors cash in on their looks. I don't think ash is dumb enough to now wrk according to shankars money figures, let alone, speculating tht ash will be considerd. Deepika, shes alright since she didn't do anything in oso and kannada movie "aishwarya", although she did a tad bit better in kannada movie. In this tamil movie, count on deepika not to act in this movie, since she is taller thn rajinikanth.

hi it doesnt mean deepika or aish will make the film hit,,, not even shriya's role made shivaji - the hit, its Sankar- Rahman - Rajni - AVM made it a hit,, it doesnt mean whos the actress, even with new comer they can manage.
Relax, robo is not ven made yet and people are assuming the story line, wow!! Anywys, its finlly upto dirctor,shankar to gt female lead. Seriously, since sivaji whn heroines strted to gt sidelined in rajini sir's movie. There is no reason for shankar to gt a female lead, since its all abt rajini and female lead is simply unncessary. Note to shankar, just stop lukin 4 heroines and gt strted w/the movie alright.

I don't know since rajinikanth is not the producer or director, its not him whos charging the ticket prizes. He aldry gets his salary much befor the official box-office status comes out from director. Anyws, no one knows how his crazy fans can afford ticket prize or not, but its upto to them to go to movie or not.Also t.v channels are buyin rights for rajinikanths movie so most of the money towards the movie will come from ther itself.
