Pritam has copied many songs from Indonesian and Korean songs. Metro, Gangster, Jab We Met, Dhoom, ETC are only few of his cop cat examples. goto itowfs.org for more info on this
Well we can now hope to hear the compositions of Mozart and Beethoven in halls across India now, more frequently. Lets hope they rope in a good music director and conductor. But I think it will be atleast a few years for the realisation.
Like Father like Son. Belated Happy Birthday dear Rahman.
I am an ardent fan of your father who had scored melodious music for Malayalam movies Myself and my son (for that matter my wole family) are your fans. Belated Happy Birthday. Give us more and more melodius music in the years to come. God Bless You.

Here, we are talking of a personality who has captured the World with his mind - blowing talent; no question of his being a Southie or Northie. But fools like you will never waste an opportunity to flaunt your Narrow Regionalism.

Excellent Rehman....good thought and all the best for this project success.... Hope you will give a chance who does not have Music knowledge but extremely fond of indian classical music/instruments....
I just think...he will be the last of the originals...sadly other music composers just dont have the guts or talent to match this man...suprising chooses a new path everytime to find success...whr as other still a beating the same old bhangra beat or sufi beat sadly...

Rahman is good. But calling all others gutless is something even rahman wouldn't like. As for Mr.sparrow, yes rahman is far from original. how many are original anyways? I didn't understand ur comment on destruction of differences. I understand that destruction of differences is a good thing, isn't it? He is one of our better composers who has been very successful too.

Now that somebody has abused my message elt me tell you...
Despite being a good and popular musician, if there is anybody who destroyed the difference between south-indian and north-indian film music that is ARR.
