these current mythological serials are making fun of Indian mythology in fron of international world, wat ever the serial may be shri ganesh, new ramayan,new mahabharat, sai baba, serials on Maa durgaa , they all are made with very poor direction and very poor actors, even they dont do correct research while depecting a deity or a whole story, when eve I watch them I am annoyed by thinking wat other countries will b thinking about the our civilisation and its culture. They are complete mess and putting a bad picture of Indian religions, specially hinduism in from of the whole world

yes, i completely agree with you, it makes more sense to telecast the old version rather than spending a huge amount for reproducing the new. Also the serial was a big hit at that time.

Yes, I too agree agree with you. As it says OLD is GOLD. So also serials like Mahabharat and Ramayan are best in old forms. Their characters depicted the truth and reality. While modern ones are more artificial and unnatural...

yes i agree with you, its better to telecast old one than reproducing the new one. i had seen ndtv's ramayan, but i found poor acting and very poor direction. the stories like ramayan and mahabharat needs to have very talented actors and directions, to hanlde those sensitive stories. chary

I dont agree with you. NDTV"s Ramayan is more musical descriptive and racy as compared to the older one. Although the older one had better actors but in this new DAILY avtaar its been shot well and is a great relief from the cliched soaps ruling the airwaves at present. VIMAL PANT
This time do spare some episodes on Bhagwad Geeta. Damn! No-one seems to get the real essence of message given in it! Why dont these thickheads make some efforts to keep themselves advised? I mean do we lack spiritual literature or do we lack spiritual gurus to learn from?

If you know so much, you make those serials. Nobody tells you how to do your work. Why do you tell others?
Films were being remade. Don, Billa .. Now, it is the turn of serials. The old version produced on Doordarshan was a runaway hit and there was no other channel available at that time. Hopefully, the new version will be reproduced with the same charm.

mahabharat telecasted on DD1, IS THE BEST SERIAL EVER MADE IN INDIAN TELEVISION HISTORY. PLS DONT REMAKE IT.
