Its too bad people from central,east,west, north indians does not know the south indian languages.
Because south indian and northeastern languages are poles apart from all other languages. Languages in west,central,bengal,north have dialects tht are mostly common to hindi.
Unlike south indian and northeastern(assam,meghalaya,manipur,mizoram) languages don't have a single dialect related to hindi.
So we don't blame you for not knowin these languages, since its hard to learn. So obviously you won't know abt the movies tht are made even in assam(which ar great,although few in #s),let alone the south indian films.
But the south knows hindi and we watch bengali movies w/subtitles b.c those movies use the same technique in story telling as the south does.
So wht does south indian language films hav to do to show the audiences who is foreign to the language, is to obviously dub the film or remake it.
Now, dubbing or showin the movie w.subtitles will do no good, since you gys don't know the actors/actress/directors too well.
So we have to remake the movie and show it too you w/ur culture,language,actors,formula, etc... in the film.
Atleast, we are kind enough to do the remake. Since we understand tht hindi film audiences like to see the personality, charisma of the actors/actress, the songs, melodramatic,overhypye substance in movies and you have dwelled in those kind of movies for forever.
So atleast respect the fact, tht we appease to your interest and

The South Indian practice of using place name as initial will help them to remember their background with pride as long as they live. If by chance one particular person became world famous, it automatcally makes that place also world famous. Take the case of stalwarts like Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Rasipuram. K. Narayanan and his brother R.K Laxman, Nandamuri. T. Ramarao, in the field of films, Palakkad Mani Iyer, Chembai etc. in the field of Carnatic music, the great Indian scientist Gopalasamudram. N. Ramachandran etc are a few examples. Its indeed a sense of pride for the whole region from which these famous personalities comes. Even the 'P' in my name is place name. The practice of putting religious names as initials should be abolished for good. Mr.Manesh, we South Indians are wid you. And Yogita Rajnikant is from Maharashtra and u may be knowing his real name is Sivaji Rao Gaekwad. Its South Indian film industry that made him famous and if Rajni is boring for u, then all other actors too has to be boring for u. Isn't it?

Well said Rakesh! I don't know why we Indiand r following British culture of using Surnames everywhere. Our name, along with fathers name and the place name is the correct method on should follow.

Bollywood does not have any creativity. They either steal from South Indian Movies or from Hollywood. They don%u2019t concentrate on story or acting, they sell ticket just by advertisement and creating a hype before the release. They just make profit in 2 weeks ie. Before the audience realizes that the movie is such a shit. Bollywood never portrait normal Indian life. Either story will be an NRI based or a super rich family in India.

Arey yaar, jodha akbar ek epic love story hai. Hum love stories epic,b.c,modern era deknha bauth thang ah chuke hain.
Dost, ther ar lots of interesting historical facts. Ab bhi is century mein, we ar still makin movies on ghandi,taj mahal, or ab jodha akbar. Sharukh khan ke previous movie "asoka" is being made again w/ ajay devgan in the lead.
Hindi cinema, directors ko amnesia hai kya? Abhi thak sharukh khan starrer "asoka" was released couple of yrs ago. Aur, ek doosra "asoka" is coming in future.
Aur hum kitne bar taj mahal ke movie banega, ab rumors hai ki ben kinglsey aur aishwarya is making the movie. Aishwarya said this on interviews.
Yeah kya hai yaar, it wud benefit if we go to the library every friday instead of the theatres.

You dnt like them as u dnt know the true talent all national award winners go and see some malayalam movies then u will understand what acting script is ........and who said all southindian stars are called Anna i hope u know the meaning of Anna which means brother that is the love RESPECT the ppl gve them so pls think well bfr you critise any film actor

Who told Hindi actors are a talented lot? They don't know the basics of acting. Hindi actors MUST LEARN ACTING from malayalam actors. Watch a Malayalam movie and you will understand the difference. But, you don't understand good language. You only know and speak some cheap jungli language.

HEY LISTEN MAN........... u really need to get proper check up from mental hospital... typical 'BHAI'......... Done ever comment in such bad way to talented actors... I dont have any complaint of south or north... I watch all good movies wht ever.......agar koi film acha nahin hai... then its bad .. thats all.... you really need to understand the south indian language then only u can know how good south indian actor really act in movies... the best of their performance is always seen in the screen.... hindi its always a package movie comes and actor or actress is surrounded by good character roles done by other actors and then its a hit movie....

listen .... pls keep your mind clear my dear... everywhere we have talented actors on both the sides, south and north, I believe both north and south has to clean your mind... first of all north indian guys pls understand that u r not the good dancers and good looking or great people and u south guys please make a note that south mallu guys u r not master in all......... u people are everywhere not b'cos u r great but you guys have to stability to work and be in any enviorment thats it and have patience in every thing u do.... thats the reason we find u everywhere ... got it/....

They are jealous of all the south indian states. We have far surpassed them in all areas. -Heck Kerala is the trading/business haven to european/british/arabic people. -Tamil Nadu is the goverment haven of the british and dutch armies, and have established alot of excellent colleges. -Kerala and tamil nadu is the only place where people raised against hinduism and its castes. -Karnataka is the silicon valley of india, while andhra is the real estate and kind of like singapore.
You see in karnataka,kerala, and tamil nadu you'll findi people from all religion live together.
I am tamilian and keralite and i love celebrating pongal and onam, since its a festival celebrated regardless of religion,caste,class etc....

Hi Very True ,the talents the Malayalam actors have is appreciated by the Hindi actors too the scripts and story is so true to our own life not stupid and unbeliveable things which many Hindi movies have
