The best actors
by Job Mathew on Feb 26, 2008 03:34 AM  | Hide replies

Kamal and Mohanlal are the most versatile actors ever seen in the Indian film history.. I feel sympathetic towards the northindian who says crap about these actors ... it is just ignorance, nothing else ... If you haven't seen talents of these 2 actors go and watch ... Nayakan (Kamal, Bharatham (Mohanlal), Kuruthi Punal (Kamal), Thalavattom (Mohanlal... I am Keralite, but i would say Kamalhassan is real entertainment ... i would never miss his films ... Even his malyalam movie (chanakyan) was great..No North Indian stars had achieved the level of Kamal and Mohanlal ... Yes offcourse Amitabha Bachan is a great star, but he is the only one comparable to these 2 big stars .... just being ignorant makes you superior to any one ... Hope you guys knows India comprises of North, south, East and western part .... I am so desperate to watch this movie

Hey dude, can u read well.

The comments wer at north indians who say crap abt south actors, for the "SIMBLE" fact tht they haven't seen their movies, and still they go on talking crap abt them.

Now the question is if north indians don't know these actors, thn why comment at all in a positive/negative way.

Wher in the commnt, did it say criticizin amitabh b/c he is tall. Hell, it doesn't mattr if he is tall/dwarf. You people ar still in those ages wher whn people hate sharukh, you assume thy ar hating him b.c he is a muslim.

The south indians crticize hindi stars since thy have seen their movies, but north indians criticize south indian stars b/c not only thy don't wtch the movies, but they don't know a hairstrand abt them.

Now forgt abt thm not knowin the south languages or even not watchin their movies. But still some people tht assume bollywood is india and vice versa, find it strange to believe tht ther is this "south indian" cinema tht is standing up to them in terms of all areas in cinema.

Is this true??

not sure if this is correct info. Kamal has already got quite a few interesting projects in his kitty, like Marmayogi, a Walt Disney venture and Dasavatharam, if not Marudhanayagam. He acts in just one or 2 movies a year and several rumours float regarding his 'next' movie. Probably this one is just a rumour and not real news.

Rajini and kamal getting together ws in news some months back. Alrdy tht rumor is denied by rajinikanth.

Anyways, where in the article did it say tht kamal and lal WILL act together in the untitled movie w/unknown plot and characters(commando is a little clue to the characters, but not the main reason)

This article only said tht the director is PLANNING to get both actors, and since the director did work w/kamal hassan in Aalavandan, and he is friends w/both kamal and lal.

So read the article well and its no less of a rumor, rather its just unconfirmed since the director has another movie to complete.

Yes. Rediff is an expert in spreading such false news. You may even see a news item like 'Rajini and Kamal getting together' next week. Mohanlal acts in 20 movies a year. So for him this is just another movie, but Kamal rarely accepts a film. A Kamal movie normally takes 1 to 2 yrs to get completed. All these are just gossips. no need to take them seriously

Why r u blaming rediff for the news ? How many false news u read on rediff ? If u don't like them acting together that is a different issue. During the Asianet film award nite in Trivandrum, Kamal expressed his desire to work in a project with Mohanlal. Mohanlal was also present on stage and he reciprocated positively. So don't jump to conclusions without verifying the facts.

Cool stuff Ajay.. Lol!
Read your earlier message on Lal refusing Shivaji.
That's true, the role was written with Lal in mind and was more of a gray anti hero.
When Suman came in they rewrote the character.
For Robot Arjun has signed up as villain after being a hero for more than 28 years, and starring in Gentleman and Mudhalvan. That's gutsy.
Meanwhile Lal can continue in well chosen roles like Roch n Roll, Flash, Ali Bhai , Akshagopuram etc.

The villain in sivaji had even amitabh bachan in mind, not only mohanlal.
Mohanlal did not "refuse" sivaji, b/c of villain role or any role.
He did not have the bulk dates required for tht movie to be completed. Sivaji took 1-2 years in making the movie rt, since its been a few years after chandramukhi released.

So the dates required clashed w/the already commited dates put in by mohanlal for other movies.Anyways, suman is not known for the villain he did in the top box office movies of all time in indian cinema. So no harm done in mohanlal not doing the movie.

Although the story in sivaji ws good, but ther were too many songs, just the usual rajinikanth style, and the obvious ending. Hero kills villain.

How many times did shankar approached aishwarya rai to be rajinikanths leading lady, and not only shankar but other directors too.

Now aishwarya did not say tht she didn't accept rajinikanth's movie since heroine will always get sidelined, since its his movie.

The reason is tht she did not have dates and couldn't commit to a rajinikanth movie tht takes almost a year to complete it.
