Stop this nonsense about Rajputs and what not. India is progressing and we should not hold it back by divisions like this. We should all march ahead and put our energy in worthwhile causes not stupid things like banning a perfect good movie on small technicality.

The movie should be banned in the whole country

As a maharashtrian, instead of making film on Shivaji or Savarkar or many other Maharashtrians - who bravely faught the Mughals or the English - this AS*H*LE makes a moive on Akbar.

Rajputs please keep up the fight.

Those Indians who want to watch it...are FREE to go to Saudi Arabia or Pakistan to watch it!

Have you heard about freedom of speech ? You are extremist creating rifts between certain classes. It is art not politics. Stories come to you in free form. You can not create stories out of the Maharashrian box or Bengali box. It is your imagination and can take you anywhere. Have you raised your voice against real issues in India ?

Narrow minded
by ann on Feb 22, 2008 12:11 AM  | Hide replies

Rajputs are just acting narrow minded. Why do not they rise for real cause like curruption or suppression against women ? They are trying to discourge art and freedom of speech and expression. All I have to say to them is grow up.

Ann I agree with you people waste time and energy on these stupid issues the world does not change with these attitudes, if they really want to protest then protest against social issues so prevalent in our society. Why don't these people protest against domestic violence child abuse dowry issues ,abortion of unborn female babies so much poverty in some state's like Orissa ,Bihar kidnappings, rape's and what not which still happens in our society in this day and age. what a shame

Arre...its just a movie...why are Rajputs creating such a BIG issue out of it?
Why didn't they oppose when it was being made...why oppose now after the release?
