Udit should learn Tamil and Telugu or Quit

The reviewer is right. When we are harsh on our criticism of even the smallest accent by south Indian singers when they sing in Hindi, why not criticise such absolute lack of effort from Udit's part to render it right? My friends have often complained about Udit murdering songs in Tamil and Kannada. I believe composers are equally to blame.

He is the same guy who has given wonderful melodious hits like 'Kaadal Pisas' and so many more.
We Indians at the first given opportunity want to ridicule and discourage people.
If Udit Narayan sings Tamil, he has the wrong diction and bad voice. If Udit Narayan does not sing Tamil, he thinks he is too good for Tamil Film Industry and needs to cut down his Hindi ego!!
What is the problem with us??
Appreciate the efforts he has put in and enjoy his melodious voice rather than being so nick-picky.
People like Naresh Kumar also go to the extent calling it "Murderous business"!!
What a shame..We , Tamilains, need to really be little more broad minded than this, seriously..
(PS. No hard feelings , please.Just a honest p.o.v. because I have seen Telugu and Kannada people as more accepting than us)

Who is this reviewer who doesn't even do his homework before spitting something like this? Udit has been singing Tamil songs right from kadhalan days which itself talks for his dedication and style. Not surprisingly, music directors like Rahman and Vidyasagar prefer him regularly when they think they need to have an extra delicacy in the song which only udit can provide. Some people just love his style of pronunciation and even in Malayalam, some music directors prefer him over mallu singers. Any probs? He has earned his spot and he is been there for ages.........ther's no point in cribbing about his language eloquence now.

I feel pity for the reviewer and the viewers who blame UDIT NARAYAN.

He totally sucked when it came to "Kadhal Pisase". We love good voices and there are lots of good singers from North who got it. But they need to work on the pronunciation with some of the Tamil syllables. It%u2019s a suggestion for Improvement and not a complaint.

Well can anyone discount the countless hit numbers sung by Udit Narayan in tamil, telugu, kannada & even malayalam?coming to tamil in particular there is hardly any number of his which has not been a hit.
Agreed his diction is not perfect and the novelty factor may not be there anymore, but I think the tamil audience has accepted his voice here as one with a difference. The way Saraswathy has ripped him apart in the review is appaling to say the least

Naresh Kumar
Udit Narayan

I agree with Saraswathy when she says Udit sucks big time when he sings Tamil songs. The pity is that he has been going about his 'murderous' business for more than a decade now in Tamil and Telugu film industries. Barring the novelty factor which has worn off a long time ago, why should anybody wilfully allow such musical mutilations?
