Sangam for the generation of the '60s, '70s and subsequent generations was a classic movie for it's fantastic music, locations, breeziness and the masterly presentation by the Greatest show man India has ever known.
How can one forget those immortal songs, especially "O mere sanam, o mere sanam...." by Lata?
many more films are giving love messages but generation gap can change their ambitions so that Sangam was also one of the beautiful move for that's generation
Sangam was a beautiful movie with amazing music and songs, a far cry from today's crap of Bollywood! Of course, love triangle became a hackneyed idea in Bollywood and other Indian cinema later. It is good to know that the Indian classic continues to retain its place among art-lovers, even if in a different country.

THE songs are lovely of sangam; there are sizzling scenes also; overall a very good movie; than these days craps
Sangam is the most hackneyed film of Rk His Mera Naam joker is areal classic Unfortunately it did not do well at the box office. His other good films include Shri 420 & Awara
what bakavas movie,after giving so many hints to rajkapoor he is not able to understand vaijantimala is not loving him.but suddenly after marriage he is understanding.suchmuch shadi ke baad mard ko akal ajati hai ki jis ke liye woh bhag raha tha woh to ek bada sa hole hai.

boss these were movies which show reality of life, relationships, marriage. what do u think u are loved by all who are showing love to u.... Just have a deep look... everything is a mirage only. no foolish ness in SANGAM only reality of life Bye.......

There are real people like that in this world who cant take a hint or will not take a no for an answer. You have seen pests in life . have'nt you? Raj kapoor(Sundar was such a character)
