The movie is getting tremendous review from all quarters, hope this is a big hit...Last time Swades also got great reviews, made people in US cry etc, but ended up a flop? Hopefully this should be another Lagaan..

Rajini is already doing the historical "Sultan" so turned this role down. Mammooty and Mohanlal felt Ash was too old to be paired with them. they wanted someone below 14.Baby Shamili is now being considered for the Malayalam remake. The Deols wanted to have a boxing match at the climax , ravi kisan mistook the title to be Birbal and is now doing that movie. Myself measured at 1 inch too big for this role(he he)

is this review on indiafm taran has given a very detailed review he also mentioned other supporting actors like sonu sood, illa arun and nikitin dheer. but rediff review is just like they were in rush to post it first. such arrogance guys u have a reputed site pls post sensible reviews. nevertheless i will watch this movie because i have enough faith in gowarikar

Anmol i think Hrithik is one of the finest actor we have in Bollywood..at least 10 times better than SRK. And of course as u said Gowarikar has promised a competition to Lagaan. So its worth watching 5/6 times.
Well i think INDIAN people are smart enough to see this movie than a waste like OSO
Maybe RAJA is trying his level best to convince him that the movie is bad..hehehe..Anyways Hats off to the entire team of Jodha Akbar..Hrithink and Aishwarya were the rite choices for the character of Akbar and Jodha respectively..Hats off to Rahman to give an awesome score for this movie..I think he is the only music diector who can do hjustice to the period movies
