Mr.Chris and MR.Deepak,
I'm not a fan of SRK, but one thing i cannot understand, why guys like you are so Jealous of Muslims bcoming a famous. You bring that muslim card in each and everything. The more you bcom Jealous of somebody, the more that somebody will bcom famous. So, stop feeling Jealous abt anybody. Otherwise you burn in that Jealous.

SI its simple...all Muslim countries treat others like crap...Pakistan has no Hindus, Bangladesh routinely chases out Hindus..this is why...people like SRK must do something to neutralize Islamic jihad.

U are criticing SRK and then want him to neutralize Islamic jihadi. But u don't known one thing SRK is indian muslim and he is proud of both of this. IT doesn't mean he is not against jihadi but look at the video he really worked well to promote India unlike big B and Rai who are busy pushing themself.

you have to see it to believe it!

Well, I am not a big fan of Shahrukh myself but the reaction to SRK in Berlin is to be seen to be believed. Most of the screaming women were fluent German speakers so this is definitely not a reaction by over-excited desis. Some admitted on TV that they have come for as far as Stuttgart and Frankfurt; they all looked and spoke like Germans. The giel crying on camera that all the tickets were sold out definitely spoke in German and looked German too. I have lived in Germany for many years and understand German. Most German channels covered the news. Just check youtube. One channel commented, toungue firmly in cheek, that "there were some minor stars like Rolling Stones, Madonna etc. in the Berlin festival today...(who pays in attention to them, the anchor's manner suggested) but the biggest fan following was for Shahrukh ..etc. etc.". I think even the channels were caught by surprise at the reaction.

While going through the comments, I found that in majority of the cases, it could be interpreted from the name of the person who sent it.
Shame Shame!!

Germans love to use his nose as a ski-jump. Lots of altitude, plenty of speed.

Sometimes Rediff writes funny articles. By the way, is rediff owned by SRK? Just want to clear my doubt.

Why report facts, when you can manufacture hype ?
by Chris on Feb 14, 2008 09:59 PM  | Hide replies

I very much doubt that SRK is a rage in Germany, or for that matter, in any country other than India.
But, then again, when has Rediff allowed the facts to come in the way of a solid propaganda campaign ?
