There is no point in doing films having repeated themes.SG and Shaji Kailas have been a perfect combination for the mid 90s where political crime thrillers attracted audiences. But after the hatrick sucess of Thalastanam,Ekalavyan and Commissioner all their films collapsed in BO except Chintamany Kolacase which was inspired from Vikram Shankar team's Annyan. There is nothing new in these films and the Verdict of people is always expected. The producer will be lucky if he can retain his investment.
ANOTHER ONE FROM SHAJI N SURESH "SHIT" GOPI? AIYYO AIYYO, PLEASE SOMEONE TAKE ALL THESE GUYS, RENJIT, MR. RENJI PANIKAR, SHAJI KAILAS N GANG TO TELUGU OR KANNADA....AT LEAST LET MALAYALAM INDUSTRY BE CLEANSED WITH THE REMOVAL OF THESE GUYS! N ALSO THE TWO "OLD IS GOLD" Ms TOO....LET SOME NEW FRESH YOUNG BLOOD COME IN!!
The problem with Suresh Gopi flicks is that they are all alike, with the hero being the english spouting, superintelligent, indefeatable in every scene. First of all SG is not at all flexible but earlier you would see some variety from him, be it the ruthless villain ( Irupatam Nootandu), Supporting character ( Rajavinte Makan, 1921,Harihar Nagar, CBI-1,Varnam, Innale), truly offbeat ( PC 369, A movie where he plays a bullock cart driver), slightly comedic (Parallel College, Kusirthi Vaarthagal, Ponnurukkum Pakshi, Anaval Mothiram). HE moved to action with B grade flicks like Chakravarthy,Kuttapathram), he even had an almost soft porn stint with movies like Ms. PAmeela, Aksharatettu. After low grade action flicks like Orukkam (K.Madhu), News (Shaji Kailas), SG hit big time with Shaji Kailas triple whammy Talastanam, Ekalavyan and Commissoner. Unfortunately he has been typecast ever after. Only exepctions were Kaliattam and Lanka (Urgh). The recent Kichamani MBA was terrible. Audiences like him and even though similar, movies like Nadiya Kollapetta Ratri (OK), Chintamani Kolacase (OK), Detective (Good), Crime File (Very Good) etc have been doing well. SG needs to get in shape and try some new stuff, only be careful with comedies, if done well (Manu Uncle, Summer in Bethlehem ) he;'s fine, else (Sundarapurushan, Kichamani) its sheer torture. Good Luck SG!

What you are saying is correct, People like him because of his sincerity, even if the movie is terrible, Suresh Gopi always gives his best shot , unlike Jayram who looks almost arrogant in some movies. Also Suresh Gopi seems to be a good human being, which is most important
The movie is actually doing quite well in Ekm and Calicut, saw the crowds there and viewers said that movie was OK. I think that there was no hype over this movie, In fact did not even know it released and watched Roudram ( terrible) instead of Boot which would have been a far better choice. CK is running empty everywhere, they are trying to complete 25 days before chucking it out

Roudram is a useless movie, full of bombastic dialogue and little action, all the characters do is stand around and talk? No story, no suspense, the murder is of a third rate goonda and Mammotty doesn't even solve the case? And how did the goan mafia (Ha ha) find the "top secret" location in the climax? Climax is a rehash of Inspector Balram (Hindi Bashan including the Saaza Maut bit) and Valiyttan ( Instead of a log its a car and Mamooka finishes the job). Have not seen Boots but heard its better, why the heck... CYCLE is better than Roudram and CK combined?

dont compare suresh gopi to the legend al pacino..what does he know except from yellig out verbose memorised sentences which are completely detached from any emotion or passion..adding to it his absurd antics..al pacino could imbibe in himself the real spirit of character...if there is anyone on malayalam whoi can stand comparison to al pacino, i think it should be mohan lal..the ease with which he gets into the skin of a character is ver sponatneous..

though i would'nt go to the extent of camparing suresh gopi and al pacino...i wld dare to disagree with ur above comment that he "yells out verbose memorised sentences which are completely detached from any emotion or passion..adnd adds to it his absurd antics" u beter watch Kaliyattam where he played the role of kannam perumalam with such ease and authenticity...and beter watch manichithrathazhu where he so well underplays the role of nakulan...watch radambhaavam..watch lelam...i am sure you would retract ur comments made at the surge of a moment!!!and who else can play the role of a police officer with such command other than suresh gopi??think police ...think suresh gopi..that has been the mind of malayalees!!! i hope u wld agree with me.

Please cast Baby Shalini as Lalettan's next heroine , that Parvathy looked almost 16 in Flash, what nonsense..I think that girl from Kazcha is big enough now to be Mamukkas heroine..

Initially she has a crush on Professor Lal alias Midhun Madhavan, his wife and kids are shown only in the last scene, stupid Lal fan don't even watch movies of your "Sooper Star"
