Hello! I'm not a Padma-Lakshmi fan. But I know she is a celebraty (unless you are kidding or being sarcastic that she is not). And if you've heard of Salman Rushdie, you'd surely have heard of Padma Lakshmi too!

How would you think Salman Rushdie shacked up with a Hindu girl, just out of the crowd? She was a well known model in Britain, and a published author before she married him.
