I watched the movie last saturday(3rd Jan) and it is housefull. It is a comedy film like "Ee parakkum thalika" and "CID Moosa" There were laughters in theatre through out. People with hi fi expectation and prejudice may not like it.
I regret again and again to say it is my first cine house experience of 2009. Am I Crazy. So friends please please don't go anywhere near 'Crazy Gopalan'. Waste of money. Waste of time. You will see some remakes of some scenes of Mammotty's Kalikkalam, Dhoom 2, Sarkar plus some idiotic comedy. The worst thing is that they have put 'BACKGROUND LAUGHING SOUND' with some scenes. I think that is the way audience should understand they have attempted a comedy just now. :)
I will undoubtedly give it 0 out of 5 in my ratings.
the first of the movie was very interesting. The comedy is really good and there was never a boring moment. But in the second half, the action scenes were done very poorly. Also how can they show that dilip just runs away from the police. Towards the end i was waiting to get out of the theatre.
This could have been a good movie, if the ending was handled better. It is worth seeing if the ticket prices were lower
its truly miserable movie. except for a few light moments in the first half, its a total disaster. salim kumar even gets killed! from thn on, the movie went totally hay-wire. i've lost count of the no of times i checked my watch.dilip, plz do a better job next time.
27/12/2008 Golden boy Dileep is immensely talented but somehow, off late he has been very loose which is sad. His potential is much more than what we could see in CG, hope directors extract the best from him...
A very fair and reasonable review of the film, Paresh. Keep the good work up! Kudos to rediff for having a very realistic review guy in Paresh!!! Good luck, Paresh, Good luck rediff!!!

redifbol - you northies are just all about good looks.. the number of good actors in hindi cinema belong to another generation. From the current generation you dont even need 5 fingers to count cause all the others are crap..so it is not only bringing 6 pack and lookin good :-) acting skills definitely matters. Malayalam actors are some of the most skilled actors in India today so when you make a statement just do not make it for the heck of it.. btw getting a 6 pack so no big thing.. when it comes to acting..you guys suckkkkkkkk

If getting a 6-8 pack is no big thing, then you should get one, Mr. Naarayan. Indian cinema (which includes south) is driven by eye candy, artificial love sequence with lots of songs (add, comical dance steps from south), un-realistic family drama etc. to entertain stressed up people of India. In this event of cinema (unlike Hollywood), looking good is an important aspect along with acting and I see no reason why actors / actresses should not maintain a toned up body to fit into this. It will also inspire filmy people of india to keep themselves fit and athletic!
Dont just abuse, try to accept facts, there is nothing south / north about it.

By Keeping the bodies fit alone dosen't make sense.Don't blabber ok....Mr.Mohanlal is the best Actor in India Joining the league of Kamal Hassan and Amitab..He is making waves all around with his multifaced Acting Skills...Salman for Example in Hindi(Even though looking handsome and terribly fit, does most of the movies which does not even make sense !! )..So are many....Except Few which i don't deny like Aamir ,Hritic etc...The Above movie even though failed...I'll Tell one thing...Dileep is als one of the finest actors in India who does Comedy with exceptional ease and also serious roles..So Keeping Body alone !So in that case...i would say Hindi Actors should learn to act and find directors rather than creating 6 Packs n nothing else!!

I think there is a point in what Mr redibol said. Health consciousness was never close to south heroes. Along with their acting skills, if they promote physical health it will be good for the people. For movies and actors leave a lot of inspiration in society. Just a thought
