I always wondered at the stupidity of Superman's alter ego, Clark kent and found it hard to believe that just a pair of spectacles could fool an entire city to not notice that Clark kent and superman are the same. And now comes this story.I havent seen RBDJ but reading the story outline left me wondering is this the best Aditya Chopra could do after 8 years? A wife cannot recognise her husband because he shaves off his moustache and plays around with his hair. Really? How stupid do they think the audiences are? You spend crores to come up with this dimwitted story?

Most of them complains that Tani(anushka) didn't recognize her husband... How can she recognize
him? They haven't interacted much.. Also he don't talk too much... Whenever he talks, he is very very
polite in nature... SO how can she expect her husband to be in dance class... While Raj is a loudly
speaking, over talking character... Next thing is the moustache and hair style... Surinder sawhey & raj
is entirely diferent in their style.... We know that its SHAHRUKH.... Thats y we can recognize him... But in real life if one changes completely into other, i don't know how many of u r going to recognize... Surinder sawney changes his hair, moustache, expressions, behaviour, language into a Raj.....

This is a movie don't find logics as if u are at a international conference. And by the way you people watch all those English movies which are mostly fictuous(all graphics) and u don't take hindi movies like that.

oh common yaar....He completly changes his physical and body language so she cant recognizes him....if u can remember...shahrukh changes his voice as well. It depends on once capability....
you see the positive aspects of the film first yaar....This is a good message movie after a long time. you take Dostana- basic plot is both act gay just for rent a house??? dont u find any house in the whole miami??. Is this the only way???u see..here the basic plot is flaw but the movie is declared HIT...but that movie promotes gayism..is this correct???.
What shahrukh doing in Rab ne is totally extra-ordinary performance!! and this type of movies will never become flop!!.All praise be to God and God bless Shahrukh.

I WOULD RATHER DONATE 100 RS TO SHAHEED FUND INSTEAD GIVING IT TO DAWOOD INDIRETLY BY WATCHING HIS PRODUCED MOVIES.
SRK is the best actor since 1992 and akshay has 5 hits from 75 so I think some people don't want to see a muslim ruling Bollywood Shame for all SRK haters

Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan creates the so what we call BOLLYWOOD now....!!. They have not seen any religion while building the good image of India to the world in the 90's. We all enjoyed their movies...But now we are blaming their movies because of some black sheeps??. is this the right justice???. Every religion has black sheeps. Does that mean the whole religion is wrong???.
You can blame pakistan but not Islam!! Coz there are many countries in the world who follows true islam and are in peace!

lol, akshay has given more hits in his entire career than Srk has, If you say he has only given 5 hits, then how did he survive in getting lead roles??? What about his 1st 4 Khiladi series being big hits of 90s, or Mohra, Yeh Dillagi, Suhaag, Dhadkan??

Add to that his film from 2000 onwards Janwar Hera Phairi AIk Rishta Ajnabee Awara pagal deewana andaaz khaakee aitraaz mujhse shaadi kerogi... Man its a long list and I still havent touched last 3 years. SO NO... he has been giving regular hits for a very long time. His career is inspirational.

according to boxofficeindia.com, the movie picked up in the evening and night shows which are now 100% which makes sense cuz some ppl do have jobs in the daytime. for a movie to attract crowds to the movie theatres after a terrorist attack at metro cinema is itself a huge achievement.

there was Bachna E hassino too... and to be surprised Aaj Namchle was on 10th rank in UK chartbusters for 2 weeks.
Chak De India opened to a rubbish response but then picked up to become a blockbuster! OSO was a blockbuster film with a blockbuster budget. RNBDJ has a tiny budget and no fuss and according to boxofficeindia (a PROPER movie website) the collections have risen 10% with each show and are 100% for the evening shows with an 80% average. You need new film journalists cos u r all dodos!

akshay sucks. singh is king was the worst movie ever..the songs were good and the film was overly hyped. and ppl like you try to bring srk down and promote akshay even though his movies are third-grade, are full of cheap jokes and do not require amazing acting skills...thats not what a good actor does thats someone who wants your money and thats all and illiterates like you continue to fall for his cheap movies but forget all the wonderful movies srk has done. or maybe u were paid by akshay to bash him cuz his movie comes out in january...shameless guy continues to promote his movie in such horrid times whereas yrf chose not to cuz of the mumbai situation. the reason why the theatres havent been full has to do with the attacks and not with the movie cuz the movie is great itself. when oso came out ppl like you on rediff kept bashing srk cuz the movie "was paisa vasool" well what the hell was singh is king...it was worse than oso.

Dont believe in a site like Box Office India, believe what the trade anylyst says. This site has removed hit bhagam bhaag from 2006 list. It is wrong espically for old film verdicts.

lagaan was boring beliv me i had to sit through it..dil chahta hai was watchable only if u had ur fone with u to play games..rang de bansti well i saved myself the agony of watching that..the only one that was any good was tzp mainly cuz of darsheel and jaane tu ya jaane na didnt even have amir in it!!! but i gotta say imran was pretty awesome in it

aisha, its not your fault. your mindset of movies are in the DDLJ, KKHH kind. you r trapped in it. see all the movies mentioned of AAMIR are different kind of presentation. you will feel freshness. Even SARFAROSH has a different kind of narration. but SRK he always go for same kind of movie. thats really bad. Initially SRK did very well. then he comes down as an actor. may be lot of blockbuster. but that doesnt prove his acting skill. ofcourse he has skill. but never try to mould it. im really disappointed him as an actor.

happyfeet, akshay kumar has got wide variety of entertainment to offer to different audince, to you Singh is King is rubbish, but to punjabhi's it is a good movie which fits with their cultural lifestyle. And Akshay easily pulled of the role of a Punjhai, his accent was great. Akshay is a complete actor and entertainer.
