Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, which released worldwide on December 12th 2008, has broken all earlier opening weekend collection records for Yash Raj Films. The film has grossed approximately Rs. 60 Crores worldwide on its opening weekend, and has surpassed Dhoom:2, which is regarded as one of the highest grossing films of all-time.
In the Middle East, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has set a new record altogether as the highest opening film of all-time. The previous highest was Dhoom:2, which grossed approximately $1.86 million across its entire run. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has grossed approximately $1 million on its opening weekend alone.
The film has also received a grand opening across all overseas markets, including the UK, USA, Australia, Europe, Africa, and other territories in Asia.
Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has been appreciated tremendously by audiences across the board and the film’s performance promises to continue in the same vein moving forward.
I saw the movie last weekend............and am still confused to give it an outright winner status or not, it is funny in parts and has some tender romantic moments but it's emotionally over stretched and a bit overdone.......director should have kept it simple and funny rather than going into too much of alter-ego, dual roles, contrasting characters.........music is catchy and u feel like tapping your feet, ending credits are very cute and lovely....... but above all 'Surinder Sahni' is too good...........one more thing, directors- please avoid close-ups of SRK, his wrinkles fly all over his face...........

The film industry and movie buffs are pinning their hopes on Shah Rukh Khan to deliver the next big hit of the year with the upcoming 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi', the advance bookings of which have been "terrific".
'Rab Ne...' hits bull's eye, breaks Yash Raj's jinx Yash Raj Films' 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' that hit the screens on Dec 12 has proven to be a breather for the production house breaking its jinx of delivering duds this year.
Nothing New!!! the story is same as Aparacit (Anniyan in tamil) that Ambi and remo character alone the whole story.... only a Die hard SRK fan wil like it...... y SRK is chosing storie like this..

Sorry I beg to differ.Vikram's character in Aniyan in no sense of imagination is similar to that of Sharukh's character in the movie.And for GOD'S SAKE the story of RNBDJ and ANIYAN are different movies with different stories.COMON GET A LIFE
