Rahman is best composer India has ever produced and will ever produce in next two centuries at least. In an Indian music scene where every sond and composition is a COPY, Rahman is ever refreshing. Why talk only of SDM, listen to his Tu hi re..... and know of yourself.
But again like common Indian, rediff too has put this story when he won an international award. His work at home are much bigger.

Dear Rahman, Once again Hats Off to you for this....as always May God Bless you for giving more stunning tunes for us to listen. SDM...was out standing scores; be it "dreams on fire" , "Jai Ho", "O Saya" and other inst.musicals.....
The major test will be the oscars. Slumdog should be getting atleast a couple of oscars. If Rahman is nominated for the background score then he might also get an oscar. Chances are there for Dev patel also .
ARR is beyond success and failures now..an Intrenational phenomenon..just listen to his two compostitions from Slumdog millionaire.. 'jai ho' and 'dreams on fire'..simply awesome.. beyond words..He never speaks against any other composer..as he always admire 'music'
