Malayalam cinema are at their best if they stick to arty stuff, the ones made famous by adoor. They mite not offer any entertainment value, but they seem to bring awards at variuos film festivals. When they try to shift to commerciality, the results are comical(Ex. Mohanlal taking 50 guys at one shot, Suresh gopi mouthing the same dialogues even after 20 yrs, mamooty swaggering on screen..absolutely no novelty and no freshness). As for the actresses, they try their hand at glamour and look like well fed middle aged women(ex bhavana,gopika etc). They are in no way match to the tamil industry which has a fine balance between style nd substance, and actresses who can look good as well as act.
Entertainer and nice cinema to watch. Really happy to watch performance from the young star vinu Mohan (talented Young guy.Intresting movie and really recomment to watch. Revathi - Shornur
Vinu Mohan already has become like a water buffallo! May be he is studying for Mohan lal :( But lal, has got great acting skills, and is from a generation where hero's physique does not matter... This guy, after having two good movies is going downwards. Very much disappointing.

i dont think u have any right to qusetion lal's acting. u r not a mallu, u havent seen any malayalm film. so watch film then judge....did u hear pullaeeeeeeee

I have seen a lot of lal movies..i cudnt watch that vamanapuram...completely, so misearble hes..even in the latest pakal nakshatram, he just give away dialogues in the same tone even hes a police or an artist or a military man...he doesnt work for his roles, neither his physique...

im like lal a lot for his acting.but now a days he is delivering very poor. he lost his naturality. he delivers the same kind of acting. really so boring these days...

Not agree with the preview which categorised the movie sulthan as "not bad". Got an opportunity to watch and in my view the subject is realy good and logical and giving a very good message that all the parents must see. Good picurisation and beutiful songs add the the movie moe colourful. No doubt, it is good movie.

in which angle did u find this movie bueatiful?? I feel like all new malayalam actors hav a preassumtion that if u want to become hero u shud be atleast 10 pound overweight..

I am spporting the view that sulthan is beautiful. If your concept is to enjoy two hours, definitelty all the way, this is a good movie. Hareesh - kannur
