The purpose of this meeting is manifold - 1. Commemorate the victims of the terrorists at the 1 month anniversary 2. Show solidarity against the terrorists and increase our sense of community 3. Show the world, especially our politicians and leaders, that we have not forgotten and neither should they
We will meet at Azad Maidan which is for practical reasons - able to acomodate a large crowd in an organised manner - and for historical reasons.
The timing of the meeting is to coincide with the first attack on CST railway station at 09:20 pm on 26 Nov 2008.
This event is non-political and self-funded. This event is open to all.
It would be insensitive to suggest that Mumbaikars should become more relaxed and get on with their lives, even entertaining themselves!
Still, life should go on! Terror has come to occupy an important slot in our lives. I think one should be cautious but keep up to other requirements in life too!
