I agree Shivanna is not havning good looks and he enetered this industry becuase of his father superstar kanndada kanmani Dr Rajkumar alias Annavaru. But he made his mark in acting as a star in many Kannada films. OM is one classic which even today runs to packed houses. Recently did in Kapali when it got released. There are so many directors in Kannada industry who are more versatile and very choosy like Nagabharna, SunilKumar Desai, Upendra, Dorai Bhagwan etc who have choosed Shivraj Kumar who fits the bill. What was so good about OM Puri, his acting and his acting fails in some of the latest comic flicks. He did not fit the bill. Same here, Shivanna may not fit the bill for youthful movies or romantic movies, but is good at such raw looking movies as Jogi, OM, Madesha etc., So just seeing some films, dont bother others and raise sentiments in his fans. Talk in blogs just not for sake of it, but write something is you have evidences to prve in general and not seeing in just one or two films. He is a super star in MASS population and his fan club which is a extended version of Dr Raj fan club. Our super star is still Annavaru and nobody else. If you see Rajani during his initial days, he struggeled to get into Hero's shoes but its all the fact the MASS fan folowing made a great deal of his style and today he is unbeaten star. Gosh, man he is DA MAN :) i just cannot say anything more but the movie is going to set new record in Sandalwood, great start ... after JOGI this is his next big hit for sure. Last but not least ... Trust me he wasn't this bad lookin befre.The fact can't be denied that he has given some huge blockbuster movies..like OM(all time classic),nammoora mandaara hoove, AK 47,jogi,thavarige baa thangi to name a few.these moveis were not hit because shivaraj was there.. but for many other reasons like good direction, music stroy and so on. If you look at the Hit movies in kannada you wil not find many movies doing good just because of the hero or heronine. I'm glad to say that.Now back to why shivraj is a huge star..He does act man, I personally totally liked his acting in jogi..and if some one is a part of many Hit movies he is bound to be a star if not super star.. and being the son of the Great Dr.Rajkumar adds on!!    Forward   |   Report abuse
