i agree to u .Even the novel one nite @call centre is also too gud.Infact I am waiting for the release of that movie....
Aamir is 43; Madhavan is 38; Kareena is nearing 30. If Raj Kumar Hirani trying to pass them off as 18-20 year old undergraduate students?
Five Point Something is a movie which will work excellently if made with new comers who look the age. Unfortunately, Raj Hirani, who's a master storyteller (I love both his Munnabhai films) seems to rely more on star power!!
A Tamil movie called Kalloori (college) was made last year and it worked big time because the actors (all newcomers) looked their age and it was so real, everybody identified with them. The movie was accepted by the masses too. Check out its review on Rediff.

i agree wid u .. SRK was d 1'st choice 4 thiz film .. thn it went to Aamir whn he rejected it .. bcos of certain terms .. Even 4 munnabhai shahruk was considered initially ..
This Novel was based on life in IIT (what not to do in IIT) and I believe the average age of an IITian student is some where around 18---24 but this character are playing all people who are around 35---40 (Except kareena who is around 28—30) …….I don’t know how they are going to justify with the character and how they are going to play a role of 1st year---4th year IIT student……….Keeping my figure cross……..

Aamir has guts and that stature to carry any role that comes his way. I believe these days its the strength of script and the storyline that puts soul into the movie. aamir complimented by kareena ( who has recently found the tag of blue eyed actress ) will make it a great couple on screen. Moreover , Indian movies are told in sucha a manner that a mithun or dharmendra can be college movers. Aamir is a success story looking at DCH and RDB.

No dude u r wrong ~ because HARI is the main hero of that novel so obviously AAMIR is going o play HARI and KAREENA as his love angle (Dean daughters) and SHARMAN is going to play RYAN and MADHAVAN is going to play that third guy (Big Specs) and I am agree that Boman is definitely going to make a mark as a dean …………….

Characters: Ryan: Aamir Khan Hari: R. Madhvan Alok: Sharman Joshi Prof Cherian: Boman Irani I'm not sure who is playing Prof Veera.
If the movie is by Rajkumar Hirani 7 it has Aamir Khan in it then you have to be 100% sure that a) The script must have been scrutinized b) The film will be a Terrific Mind blowing Film even better than Munnabhai c) And it will be a hit. The film has 2 Perfectionist what more can you ask.Lets wait for the Idiots like idiots
The book was just about okay just like the lady character mention it in his second book " one night at the call centre". but i guess, raju will make a good film out of this book
