Every film of hers has the same look and acting..of a sad next door girl. She's won national award on that only, and she dosent have any range. Ex Preity zinta,rani, etc can do comedy,look glam and act all with equal ease....The fact is these malayalee actress totally fail at glam, which is an important part of the movies. . Also newcomers esha deol,deepika,minisha etc...have gr8 skills both in acting and dancing. Whereas meera,navya, while being comparable to hindi actresses in acting skills, cant do much more

How dare you compare esha deol,deepika,minisha etc with meera jasmine? In your opinion, Julia Roberts could also be an incomplte actress, as she doesnt dance around funny music? Mate you know nothing about movies. You have a serious problem differentiating between films and music videos!

Malayalee actresses fail at Glam coz in malayalam glam is not a factor for you to becaome an actor or actress unlike sick bollywood movies... they see talent and only then give you work! In bollywood the more u can show skin more money you will get or you should be a son or a daughter of some guy of past...

To add Bollywood skills and glamour to Meera Jasmine is a matter of few days practice and exercise. If she would do that, she can be better than anyone. But I think, she doesn't care that. Because she is more representing common Indian women, who are not used too all such fitness. But acting is something like becoming another person. Total involvement. Not just pretending. It takes a lot to attain that level.

Mr. Suraj, May be u dont know about MS Sathyu(director of this film where Meera is acting), he is a well known director. I was happy to see Meera acting in his film. His film "Bara" has won national awards. And also as Lakshmi Rai mentioned below we have many good directors who has made kannadigas proud. Better check the list of national awrds kannada has got, I agree and respect malayalm directors like Adoor Gopalkrishnan who has done very good films.

How many kannada movies have u seen Suraj John??? if U havent seen then go see them before commenting, or if U have watched, sorry to say that U have watched the films of jokers who contribute just about 10% of the entire industry and if thats ur taste, then better change it. Its easy to pass some comments just bcoz U want to degrade someone, but a true art lover will understand that good and bad movies are made every where and every industry has big names that they are proud of. If U R not aware of Kasaravalli, Sheshadri, Ramesh, Yograjbhatt, Soori,M.S.Satyu, Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, then it shows ur ignorance. These guys just dont make movies, but they make meaningful movies and thier movies get discussed world wide like Gulabi talkies, Cyanide, Mathadu Mathadu Mallige, Bara, Mungaru male, Duniya etc... if U guys dont know about this, better know it. If U have commentedd knowingly, then ur comments have no relevance as it comes from a stupid fanatic who cant see beyond his pond

hey lakshmi...u mentioned several names frm kannada ,i dont even heard abt them,nd adoor gopalakrishnan is not a famous director here..not many of us see his movies..they are only for awards sake...many great actors(nd actresses) quoted malayalam film industry as the best film industry..only prob with mallu movies are lack of budget...

Mallu girls are in kannada only bcoz they get more money.I hav no doubt they are talented than bollywood,tollywood,"any"wood...Mallu film budget range from 1cr to 4 cr max...cant expect a huge payment from here

totally. rediff goes from bad to worse, and begging for competition. several single page stories are made slide shows that take time to load and effort to keep clicking, and many times with totally irrelevant photos.
