The people at Rediff are either fairly touchy; or perhaps someone was a little overzealous because I took the name of Rediff's Boss (Mr. Ajit Balakrishnan). The funny thing about all these replies to my post "A KICK TO REDIFF" is that the post has been deleted. Not only that I receive an alert in my email, "Hello, There are 14 fresh message(s) related to your post A KICK TO REDIFF on discussion board: Bipasha wants a date with Vijender Kumar. Check out the action. Rediff Discussion Boards Team"
Well, I did check out the action, only to find that my post had been chucked out following an abuse alert. There was nothing abusive in my message. In fact, the downright street-level of abuse is blithely carried by Rediff without batting an eyelid. My post went something like this:
Rediff deserves a kick for carrying this bit of fluff. People have been raging against the dumbing down of news. And the projection of a person who is just arm-candy of a sidey page-3 phillumwala like a front page news item is a reflection of this trend. Ajit Balkrishnan had better step in and set things right, before we decide to junk Rediff.
