The difference is :- 1) Hyderabad is the capital of Andhra Pradesh, whereas Chennai is the capital of Tamil Nadu. 2) Telugu is the main languauge of Andhra Pradesh, while of Tamil Nadu it is Tamil. 3) Chiranjeevi is the superstar of Telugu cinema (Andhra Pradesh) and Rajnikanth is the superstar of Tamil cinema (Tamil Nadu). 4) Rajnikanth's famous dialogue is 'mind it' whereas Chiranjeevi does not have any such famous line to his credit. 5) Andhra Pradesh has Ramoji Rao Studios while Tamil Nadu has Tollywood.
Chiru is one of the great personality of AP is having a massive fan followers ..... Chiru will be definitely CM of AP. Though I prefer Chandrababu as CM of AP. Chandrababu was the best CM in AP's history. AP and Hyderabad is on the world map just because of Chandrababu otherwise all south indians were known as madrasi. Rajkumar use your grey matter... think ... don't blindly follow like illiterates and congress chamchas good for nothing
All the reasons mentioned by venkatesh is crap and bull's shit it shows his narrow minded nature. venkat should come out from shell. Look at the overall personality in broader sense. Don't blindly say something like congressman.
Chiru cannot suceed in the 10 Telengana districts unless he supports the statehood demand. Traditionally Telengana people are not movie crazy so Chiru would not be able to inspire them with his movie antics. Rayalseema region has a strong Reddy/Congress base. His main base would be East & West Godavari, Krishna and Guntur districts.

There is no statehood demand except a few jobless losers like you. I have many friends from Telangana and their concern is development, not a seperate state where politicians have more opportunities to rob people. It's unfortunate that even educated people in India still havent realized politicians' age old game of divide and rule. If they run out of ideas to cheat people, they will try and divide people in region,religion, caste etc. to get more votes. As long as idiots like you exist, they will continue to thrive. TRS or other seperatist goons dont care about Telangana or AP. They need votes. So you wake up.

STUPID ..... None of the reasons u sited above are related to his character in helping others......its all his personal life....there is no guarantee that the next generation would always listen to their parents......so dont bring useless points. Regarding the only point about his eye and blood bank, u said its working only for the rich... can u show me any other genuine personality who has altleast taken the pain to do this before entering into politics or atleast after entering into politics.
There is 1 gud difference with him....... u might have heard people do service after coming to politics but he is the other way round....first he did social service and then he is trying to enter inot politics.
so even if u dont encourage people....never stop them with negative thoughts.

what the hell has an actor's personal life gotta do with his entry to politics.He spoke with earnest interest albiet a cliched speech ... bringing Kalam and mother teresa into the context touched a chord with the youngsters who are fed up with the politicians who do nothing but speak rhetoric. let us give him a chance and see if he can bring some professionalism into the corrupted politics .. if so then it would be an entry gate for younsters like us to join politics and treat it like any other field. hoping for some good days ahead..............with able leadership and corrupt free politics.

Thanks Venkatesh, after reading your post I've decided more strongly I'm going to vote for Chiru. As none of your reasons are valid for discrediting Chiru AS A POLITICIAN and his image and track record is so clean that you have to pick on his personal life to malign him. This itself shows his detractors have no other way to criticize him.

Chiru will be a hit in politics also. I have come across him while traveling in flight he is humble and down to earth personality. Definitely he will be next CM. Even though everybody may justify the popularity of the actors turned politicians and praise them for the various tasks done by them, I have always felt that social service is not everybody's cup of tea especially for actors, industrialists etc. because it is very difficult for these people to come out of the luxury and glamour they have enjoyed for so many years. For serving the society and nation, the first and foremost thing a person require is to be selfless and to be able to live like a common man. Though there are many examples of cine actors like MGR, Jayalalitha, NTR who got famous and growth in politics, I would say not a single cine actor has ever served the nation or society in true sense. Chiranjeevi too could follow the same path though he is boasting of to be different. If at all these people really want to serve the society, they should be involved in social service adn working at the lowest grass root level minimum for 5 years. Well, anyway, we can't be negative so here's wishing Chiranjeevi all the best and hope the good for Andhraites and those people who are looking forward to him to make atleast a little difference.

NTR started off well,but his casteist politics ruined his image!
