This is a good year for for the realistic films in Tamil. First Anjathe and now Subramaniyapuram. These films will help to make a difference in the Tamil industry.

yes you are right 2008 - a golden year. Anjathey , Dasavatharam, Santhosh subramanium, Subramaniapuram ,Saroja, including the latest Raman thediya Seethai are all different and yet appealing movies for Tamil cinema ...

Are u some distributor who suffered losses by releasing some superstar movie Mr.Sathiamoorthy??...Subramaniyapuram and Anjaathey are by far the best cinemas of Tamil film industry in 2008... Period! Mr. Sathiyamoorthy ..what makes u think that this movie is average??..because it didnt have an introduction song?...crass comedy by vadivelu??...4 fights??..item number??.....grow up and appreciate good films sir!

have u seen that movie ?? if not see that. what do u mean by competition? k..let me cum to ur point..its competing with two big releases Dasavatharam and kuselan and keep rocking.
Apart from business..This film is world class in quality.This kind of films,film maked should be appreciated.Tamil cinema has got its fourth neo realistic movie in the list of Kaadhal,Veyil,Paruthiveeran,Subramaniapuram
Dont measure a good product my money or your typical values.
