After good start at the box office, Kuselan seems to be fading out. This Rajnikanth starrer was touted to be a crowd puller initially but trade reports seem to suggest quite the opposite now. While losses are reported from all quarters, some theatres have also resorted to the extreme measure of cutting down the number of shows. The situation is alike in all the three centers – A, B and C.
According to trade pundits the losses incurred by Kuselan could be more than that of Baba. It is believed that Pyramid Saimira, the film’s distributors and those screening the film on MG basis are all reeling under the loss. Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports say that Kuselan’s failure in the C centers was due more to Rajini’s explanation to Karnataka regarding his speech during the Hogenekkal fast.
I pass through Urvashi theatre which is screening this movie during my commute to college..there's enuf space to play football in the parking lot even when a show is on!!

I was a fan of the Super Star Rajinikanth and not anymore. He may be superstar in the silver screen but not in the real life. He has proved it many times. I have never seen a selfish fellow like him. I guess the politicians are better than him as we know their true colors. Rajini is like chameleon. He changes to the situation which benefits only him. And this is not the first time he do.
I am from Tamil nadu. But I am not against his apologise. He should have done before itself if he felt that he has spoken wrongly or hurt them. What makes him to do it now? Just because his film should be released without any problem and make collection. Kannadigas & Tamilians pls understand his intention. His intention is only Money & Movie. Not People.

He does not need fan like you. any real fan can understand his intention who does not want violence to erupt when his movie opens in karnataka. He does not wanted clashes between his fans and opposing groups there. Above all he is not great orator and does not act off the camera like others. Thats why he gets into trouble.

The post by Ravi is nothing a part of the hate game plan, which was resurrected again to defame him in the name of "war for water". He is not a fan, but only writing here to coerce others "a hate campaign" so that rajini can be destroyed, which was the desire of jealous people. If he hates, he should burn with the jealousy. He is trying despartely to use a misreported regret case, as a tool to attack the Tamil respect for Rajini.
Rajni is a good human being. He has done favours to many people in karnataka. His friend stays in bangalore and he always loves to come here. eventhough he is been a superstar in tamil cinema, but he never forgets his birth place. Thats the way a true person must be. For example if you go to USA and earn more money and status, it doesnt mean u forget ur mother land. Thats the way rajni has done. I being a kannadiga, i accept his apology . There is nothing wrong in asking apology, whether there was any mistake or not. It shows his wisdom. By doing that, he has stopped violence b/w u and us. Understand guys.

R u the one of senior citizens of tamilnaadu, who always advice other "Grow" Grow Y u want to bring Dr. Rajkumar here? Dr.raj never entered in to any politics or Political speach.Rajani is Jus following the paths of Dr.Raj by acting as "Raghavendra swamy" in a movie, where Dr.Raj once acted and so on. And y u say that we are jealous of Tamils? I can see quite a number of posts with the name "Tamil" posted by tamilians.

@Karthik - Who is that rascal who filed a petition in the high court not to approve the classical status for Kannada language? Why is he poking his nose into Kannada or Karnataka? Are Tamils so jealous about it? Ask him to look after his family.
