Was Amir the director of TZP ?
by Reporter on Apr 23, 2008 03:53 PM

Who was the director of TZP ? There had been report before the release of the movie that amir had differences in opinion about the director of the movie and has decided to direct himself. Also read that, he just reshooted some of the scenes and he himself took the credit of the movie. I think the story and script belongs to the original director and Amir has taken all the credit !!!

You are just one more of the media..
by Deepa D on Apr 23, 2008 07:56 AM

Stop flattering the kid and let him have a normal life ! You are just one more in the long list of people and media who just will love to place him high up on a pedestal and think of him as God ! Give me a break ! The kid was good, great and awesome but dont overdo it ! There are other things that news and media can better focus on !

a flaw in analysis

Mozart turned out alright. he dad used to to take him from kingdom to kingdom to show off his skills. he turned out alright. he definitely didnt have a normal childhood. that's just one case in point. the childhood a particular kid of particular talent or socio-economic background is always different from a kid coming out of a different sample space. TZP probably changed the boy's life - a life with an otherwise normal childhood spent with friends, games and obscurity. anyways, what he will turn into with all the spotlight is a matter of conjecture.

Mr. Swarup, when u say that 'Mozart turned out alright', it just shows that u dont know much about Mozart and his life.. he had a bad life. yes, he was successfull, but fame and glamour isnt everything.. for more info on Mozart, see the film 'Amadeus'.. u'll understand how what Sukanya Verma is saying is exactly what Mozart went thru.. u r saying mozart turned out alright, jus coz he is famous..

hi Suhrud,

thanks for the reply. "Amadeus. The man. The music. The magic. The murder. The motion picture." i know all about it and have watched the movie multiple times. firstly, it is a semi-fictionised account of Mozart's life based on a play by the same name. and when i compared the kiddo with Mozart, i was of course using a hyperbole. even if Mozart had a bad life, not all young achievers end up become wash-outs. again, one TZP does not a prodigy make.

When a child does manual labour ,we classify it as child labour but when a child goes from stage to stage ,working day and night ,giving interviews all the time ,we sit back and applaud ,what double standards.....

too much hype for tare zameen par. this is just a kid why people going to crazy about him. I show movie in initial screens and it was ok. But then people start building the hype about movie and this kid and rest is history. If kid is busy making money why sukanya is worrying. His parents are fine and so is his mentor. So you also don't worry and just be happy

i dont know what bhakwas u r talking ...its a master piece adn impact picture. If movies had impact factors..its right on the top. To make it so impressive, whole credit goes to this kiddo's acting. You dont understand what dyslexia is or dont empathise with other people problems. Its one of the best movies with a great message. If u cant appreciate it just shut ur stinky O and watch ur masala films with raunchy numbers. Khan or no Khan TZP is a masterpiece.
