How very nice of the Bachchans to share this anniversary with their fans after having a photographer beaten last year during the wedding. I am sure this has nothing to do with the forthcoming Unforgettable Tour (did I get the name right?) or the release of Sarkar Raj...
Hope in the movie, rgv does not emphazise the beauty of aishwarya,rather emphazise on the character.
Only mani ratnam and ritupurno gosh has achievd tht, but other directors keep on shoving the character and imposing aishwarya. A good example of character's beauty and personality eclipsing ash's beauty and personalty ws in raincoat and in provoked.
From the trailer itslef, ash's role seem minor and only for looks and chemistry w.abhishek she is the movie. Hope tht whn movie releases, she gts a good character and not enact the same way as in previous movies.
Also aftr rgv flop movies, wishing luck to this movie to end the drought of his flops.
God I am fed up with the attention the media gives to Abhishek-Aishwarya. Not to be left behind is Senior B, who never leaves any opportunity to shine the medias light on his son and daughter-in-law.
Tell me have you heard of Big B celebrating his daughter-Shweta Bachchans first wedding anniversary with Nikhil Nanda, of holding a video conference, of blessing the couple. NO! but strangely his younger sons wedding anniversary hogs all the lime-light. Does it mean he likes Aishwarya more than his daughter? I am yet to see a snap of Amitabh hugging Shweta publicly, whereas with Aishwarya he does it all the time. Hello! We know you r a great pa-in-law, dont over do it for the public. What r you guilty of?
The dumbest thing is, inspite of Teji Bachchans passing away a few weeks earlier, Amitabh had to still open a school in his daughter-in-laws name. Does it mean his mother didnt deserve a school in her name? of that he loves his daughter in law more than his mother?
One more thing, in parties and other events covered by the media, even if all the Bachachans are present, I only see Amitabh and Aishwarya hanging together. I think they really love each others company lol.
Also every event covered by media shows Aishwarya beaming away, holding either Amitabhs or Abhisheks arm. Infact she beams too much-non stop. Hey we know you are happy then why try and show that you are? Maybe you arent then?
I could go on. Ugh.

very well said!!! Ashwarya is so artificial... that bit she cooed about how beautiful jaya looked.. would she say that to her own mom?? how pretensious can one get... & at her age holding hands like 18 yr old... so typical of older woman clinging on to her younger beau...

hello.. media is not giving any hype to these junkies.. its the publicity stunt by the bachan himself..nobody wants to hear about these bachans.. its amitabh who organized this video conference.. wat is the need for abishek and aish to come in video conference ??? seems like they think ppl india are waiting for every minute to hear something from this couple.. look who all came for the press conference..only the bachan family, aish family and press ppl..

Wht wud media expect to cover news from this family all the time? Thy ar the first family of b-wood, evry1 knows amitabh,jaya and whn abhishek startd films, he too got sucked into the media vaccum b.c he is the son of bachan.
Evry news counts, on the movie front and personal front. Evn circumstances make bachan family popular, in personal lives and prof. lives. Do you expect media not to make ash-ab marriage headline news in india from the time thy got engagd to getting married.
It's ash's colleagues and fans who always gave her the title most beatiful woman on earth, and all tht stuff. So, media is expectd to cover the news of the couple evry time, since thy themslves have made it happen w.their juicy stuff in personal lives on both ash and abhishek's part.
So, ash-abhi fans will love, but it does seem irritating to people who know tht both ash-abhi ar the most overrated actors.

actually I quite agree with everything you said, the attention for Abhiwarya (and more so the Amitwarya!) alliance is nauseating, especially when you never see any real chemistry or smiles between the two! it's so obvious it's fake...I am definitely a fan of the on-screen Ash, her style etc., but in real life she seems to be a very cunning woman (at least from what we can guess of the way she appears in the media). she seemed much nicer and unassuming in her earlier days!

Thanks Darshana. Am glad someone agrees with me. I do think that Aishwarya is beautiful and all that jazz but sometimes the media has to learn to let go. To over-cover a celebrity is to kill them and I think the media has already done it for the couple Abhishek-Aishwarya (or should I say Amitabh-Aishwarya hyok hyok )
