How can it happen. Should the Board intervene? I think it should be left to the individuals and they should sortit out among themselves.

I wish the Abhi-Aish a very long and married life. They should become a proud parent of a lovely baby girl as beautiful as Aish. This I think will give Amitab and Jaya a great joy and happiness.

2008 Asha Bhosle Concert In Atlantic City
by on Apr 21, 2008 05:56 AM  | Hide replies

We just attended the Asha Bhosle Concert at the Circus Maximus Theater at Caesars Palace in Atlantic City, last night (4/19/2008). The show came as a total disappointment and shock to many, to say the least. The high regard we had for Ms. Bhosle as a singer and human being were totally shattered! Somewhere along the way to her fame, Ms. Bhosle seems to have forgotten that she attributes her success to the common man in India. Last night, it was shocking, yet en-lightning for many, to witness the arrogant side of Ms. Bhosle's personality which caused her to completely ignore the basic humane considerations towards the common man, especially young children. Two groups of young dancers, who were invited to perform at the show, were banned from performing. The kids were invited to perform at her concert, by the organizers of the show, since they had won first place in a competition 2 weeks ago. The agreement was to reward them by being giving them the opportunity to perform at Ms. Bhosle's concert. According to the show organizers, Mr. Yashpal & Mr. Azim, Ms. Bhosle did not agree to have the kids perform. Not sure if this was a gimmick by the organizers to sell tickets for the show, since all participants including their friends, teachers and family were required to purchase tickets for the show. The 20 kids, their teachers, friends and family who have been preparing for the show for weeks were left shocked and in tears to say the least! Ms. Bhosle who was very well aware that
