Yes she is suing and should. harry potter is an original peice of creative work. An author ,composer , musician lyric witer has has much right over his or her peice of work as much as a business man would have over his. It's high time that Intellectual property rights are given to creative pople. JK rowling may be rolling in money but a discion by court has ramifications on far many otehr such cases where the smaller original creators of work are fighting againsit their work being exploited and bigger companies or publication houses or a thrid party making money on what was their blood sweta teras and more. As a society we need to respect our artista dn protect them not let them or thier art be taken for a ride by less deserving people whoo ahppend to be more powerful. Look at what teh astate of writers msuciinas and lyric writers in our own countyry is. Many of them suffer and die in penury whereas the music companies and otehr producres make money on tehri works and laugh all teh way to the bank.
