Nice effort from Ajay in his debut film as a director. Kajol is fantastic, and Ajay has also acted better in this film compared to some of his recent films.
I agree with Raja that the director here doesn't try to spoon-feed the audience in later scenes by reminding them of previous events where Kajol used to forget little things.
On the negative side, I did find some portions of the film a bit dragging. For example, the "ladki-patao" phase in the first-half kept on going after a point and the whole cruise set-up became a yawn. In the second half, Kajol-staring-lizard scene felt a bit long too.
Ajay Devgan does put up a good show in the role of the director. the man knows his craft and do achieve a commendable level of success too. the movie is visually stunning. but ajay could have worked on his looks a bit, often turning up over-stylised. anyway...good job which deserves a pat on the back!!!
