Aaamir khan must have requested Lata didi or invited her to premiere. Baba, Aaamir khan kya bachcha hai? Aaamir Khan, Anu Malik, Sharukh Khan, Karenna Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan are influential people. They will remain in limelight always. If they are not given award, who should be given, tell me? Ghazini is releaing soon, that film will be super duper hit. Full of electic violence. Rani Mukherjee, why nobody gave you award for Black, because you are blind and dumb, you can't see right! Now see, Aaamir khan ko purashkar mil gaya!
Direction is not easy task.For Aamir khan it is easy. Is there any clips that Aaamir khan can show us how he had worked hard as a director. Ajay Devagan has given many interviews for his latert films where we see or understand Ajay as director. I have not seen Aaamir did directorial job at all. I repeat a director job is very very tough job. Vijay Anand did one film Guide( forget his other films pls). Raj Kapoor made some hits as a director. Girish Karnad made some good films. Where is Aaamir Khan stand before them? Media and some fans think direction is easy. It is not easy at all Ask those who have been directors or spent their whole life directing films. Lucky Aaamir.

It has become a fashion to talk against anything and everything anounced. Yes its good if it is a constructive criticism. Why do you think he doesnt deserve? I do agree that veterans have to be considered. May it should have been sharede between a veteran and the youndger gen. Dont you agree that he thinks a bit different from the 1/4 metre clothed heroines and the regular gyrations, khatkas and matkas? dont you think its a great service if even a single person changes his course? Dont you think his movies have message tot he society. If you dont remember, I will try to remind you with Sarfarosh, Ghulam, TZP. There is an old saying, its better to drink a drop of cows milk than having a pot full of donkeys. SO in todays sex starved world I feel he deserves all the adulations and the recognition he gets.
Aaamir is busy getting award, so do not disturb. In Aaamir Khan film, did Lata Mangeshkar song become hit? Sorry, Lata Didi, Aaamir khna and others belong to Alka, Udit generation and not your generation either. You could have given the award to Rakhee Gulzar atleast. Awards are given not on basis of popularity but efforts.
I meant all actors are not Aparna Sen, I hope. So how can Aaamir be very good director. Direction is not so easy job. It has taken only Guru Dutt to bridge this gap. In same context, after Guru Dutt, It is Aparna Sen who has fitted into same category, Guru Dutt or Aparna Sen are veterans. Lata Mangeshkar or Media should accept this at least.

who says one person can excel only in a single field. aamir is a superb director and an excellent actor and a great human being.i think it takes immense courage and faith to star in your directorial venture and enter the screen minutes before the intermission.why are you hell bent on comparing him to your favorites. agreed aamir has a long way to go but that doesn't mean his current work should be neglected. grow up lady.
Aaamir is too young to receive it. Lata Mangeshkar should give the award to elderly people first. Lata does not know actually who deserves the award. Mangeshkar award is meant not to ignore the veterans. Lata herself is a verteran artiste, if someone gives award to Sunidhi Chouhan, she also has contributed something to music( sorry, sunidhi is not a copycat), will it be fine with Award givers. Judgest should know, time is still left for younger artistes to get award, but veterans do have neither income nor recognition even. What does then Mangeshkar award starnd for, for publicity? The film which is being directed by Aaamir is not very great film, It is good that is all. Some time media talk helps actors to get recognition very fast. Mangeshkar can give award to regional film artistes too, can't they? Anyway, who cares? Aaamir khan is not superb actor, then how can he become super director? All are not APARNA SEB, I hope.
