I dont get why people like Raja Sen and D Morgon are even allowed to write for rediff.. They are pathetic reviewers.

This is a very nice movie.. I started watching this movie late night and just could not get up.

its sad to see such stupid reviewers like raja sen and dmorgan giving wrong reviews and misguiding people.

you are right...almost mate...in fact Raja Sen has made amends and has voided the above stupid review in his own fan review and has given 4 stars...that s not something we hear often...well done Raja Sen...i liked your honesty and anger towards the above review

I agree with you my friend i just watched the movie, same as you all started at 10.00pm and could not spare a bit, what a classy movie. I suppose why rediff is keeping reviewers like raja sen and dmorgan, they are such a wastrels, i wud like to say to rediff "Boss pay half what you are giving to these useless guys i will review films as they are" i suppose these people dont want hindi movies to improve, sometimes back i read raja sen's review of Taare Zameen Par and i was really surprised. He reviewed it like a dumb head. Johnny...is a la usual suspect i would say. brilliant fooling of audience, yes i wud say that coz a good movie should fool you without you knowing that you are getting fooled in that johnny scores a 5/5. Great work sriram please we are all there to welcome your efforts leave alone these so called critics, who dont know any inch of movie making. I wud like to ask Mr Raja sen one plain question " Please list the top ten movies according to you ?....". Then we will come to know what these dumb heads have. God save movies, save rediff from loosing its readers

Brilliant Movie!
by G on Nov 18, 2007 11:38 AM

I watched this movie recently and loved every bit of it. I am not sure if D Morgan was watching the same movie that I did. Second half is well paced, and the story execution is also top class. Director has done a brilliant job. Everyone's acting is good, specially Ashwini Kalsekar's (Prakash's wife), who is so natural. My award for best supporting acress this year has to go to her.

Great Movie - A real treat from bollywood
by on Nov 17, 2007 03:41 PM  | Hide replies

I started watching this movie at 11:00pm and could not get up without finishing. A great thriller - rarely made in bollywood. Great performance by all the actors. Neil Mukesh is superb - he is truthful and still cunning. Story is great... predictable but still unpredictable. The backdrop of old hindi films really gels well.

I guess, Mr. Morgan could not understand the movie. My friend, what you call quirky is the real theme and that gives the movie its style. You better stick to reviewing melodrama such as Veer Zara.

Shriram Raghavan- You have done it again!
by ashish Kaldhone on Oct 29, 2007 05:07 PM

As a matter of fact, it's a perfect thriller! Don't miss it at all if you want to see a quality movie. It is a bit slow at some places but still, not to be missed!! Good work, Shriram; after Ek Haseens thi.

I hope, Ramgopal Varma learns something from you as age is catching him & his brain up.

Good movie
by Vikas Sahu on Oct 15, 2007 11:16 AM

The movie is very good and absolute treat to watch. I am not sure abt Johny mera naam but this one definetly will inspire some other directors to attempt something good. I was surpised to see that Sriram Raghvan hasn't underestimated the audience and has paid lot of attention to the details. Great movie must watch!!

Ayaz Alam
Rediff, please kick out these reviewers
by Ayaz Alam on Oct 12, 2007 03:54 PM

The reviewer says Johnny Gaddaar is a cleverly inspired version of ..... Johny Mera Naam. Rediff must kick out all its reviewers (D Morgan and Raja Sen indeed) who write reviews perhaps without watching or based on third party opinion. Dear D Morgan I am 100% sure you have not watched Johny Mera Naam, else you would not have written so. Both have entirely different story lines. The movie takes its name from Johny Mera Naam coincidently. The reviewer doesn't seem to have watched even Johny Gaddar as he would have know this fact.

Hey Rediff, kick out these useless reviewers before it is too late.
