Lamhe was the one movie which was ahead of its time when it was released in 1991 That time ppl dint accept the movie and it flopped. So I think it should be re-released instead of remaking it... It still looks fresh and new.
I dont like remakes. But u hv to choos one , then i would say kabhi kabhi can be remade. SRK - as Big B Akshay Kumar - shashi kapoor Madhuri / Rani - rakhi Tabu - Wahida Rehman Ranbir kapoor as rishi Sonam /deepika as neetu singh Urmila as simi garewal
Everyone is talking about remake of Yash Chopra films good but what about trying a remake of some old comedies like Golmaal, Angoor, Padosan, Chupke Chupke , Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron or even Andaz Apna Apna.
Lamhe had entered to the movie halls when the audience were not matured enough to appreciate it. Now the same should be remade with SRK and Katrina. SRK can do an Anil Kapoor with elan and ease, Katrina will look lot younger to SRK naturally for the junior Sridevi role, and we have to see how she would appear in an 40-50 yr old women. Lamhe with strong character roles, Swiss surroundings, Euro-Indian connections, global audience, enchanting music, strong story line will be an another must see movie from YashSir's stable. I have a very good opinion seriously on this and i also dream to direct this movie sometime in future days to come Divaker
I think Silsila can be remaked again. it is no doudbt a great film but a remake will be more spicier, coz i want the roles as follows- amitabh- abhishek jaya- aishwarya rekha- ranee sanjeeev kumar- shahrukh shahi- john it will be really intersting. pls try 2 do this
