Whatever criticism the people have about the thespian, one can not forget his roles in Guide, Hum Dono, Johny Mera Naam, Kala Pani, Kala Bazar, and many other classics given by him. May be his films had good music, but allmost all B/W films and films in 60s and 70s had major part of music in their success though the films had Dilip Kumar, Raj Kapoor, Rajendra Kumar and even for Bharat Bhoosha as actors. I wish Dev Anand Many Happy Returns of the Day.

Hey swamy, Whatever it is Dev sahab is the great actor and respected person in film industry. DOn't you dare to use such words, Mind it.
Devanand was very handsome. He was more famous for his style, looks and innovative ideas. His film songs were very famous mainly in B&W era and person who was responsible in his earlier hit films was Rafi. Dev rarly speaks about him but more speaks about Kishore whose few songs in late era of Dev and earlier era were known. He failed to marry Suriya for whatever reason. When Raj had appered with Big B in Nasib and Dilip had Shakti with Big B why Dev did not think in this line?
Dev Anand has shown to the world that Romancing with life is the art of living. As a star and as Raju he has GUIDED us all how to live and how to romance with life. Long Live Dev Anand sahab! May you live to be 185 . Happy Birthday Sir. Dr Anjan Chatterjee, Nagpur
