we as indians are interested in our idols be them matinee idols or idols of the almighty , but i cannot understand this discrimination against them when on one hand some stars are highlighted so unfailingly by the media ( read Rediff) others are kept in oblivion. Akshay's star status is undeniable but few days ago on 15th of august it was the 60th birthday of my fauvarite idol Raakee Gulzar who was not covered at all by rediff which brings out ineresting reads on stars on their birthdays. Akshay is An ongoing star while Raakhee is a 'hasbeen'an yesteryear star. But what is ironical is aged stars get their due attention only after they pass away i request rediff to do their bit so that they donot have to regret later
