that is an obvious rip off. i won't be surprised if the other sentences were also copied from some other reviews. lol. pathetic
Aside from the critic's impression of the movie, the writing in this review is hideous. HIDEOUS! Van Wilder's consistent flunking is not a nod, nor is it "almost" a "nod" to Aamir Khan. This is not just misleading, but a hideous comparison between an american campus sex comedy and what is already considered an Indian milestone. Secondly, National Lampoon's Van Wilder (the film's complete title, you dunderhead) did not "inspire" a slew of sex comedies, as much as it was inspired by them. That is what National Lampoon does. That's why it's called National Lampoon, you bufoon. Of course you probably know this, since you didn't mention a single comedy it did inspire. Road Trip & American Pie both enormously more succesful, came before. I have not read any of your reviews before Mr. Bookwala, but be careful when you manufacture facts in your reviews. You lose all credibility, take a moment and peruse Raja Sen's and D Morgan's reviews. They may not always be popular, witty, or even something I agree with, but I would hard pressed to find flagrant lies in them, like this one. SHAME!
