Mr Murali. Check thenumber of hindi films in that awards category? So is it hindi award function or indian award function?
Will you guys accept a Indian film award function featuring only Telegu films and award given to Telegu films alone?
hindi is one of the official language among 21 other language..that doesnt mean other languages representation is barred in indian film festivals.....We cannot give Big brother status to Bolywood since it has NRI spectators..If it comes to wards and that too on the bannner"INDIAN" representation from norht , east , south, west should b e there with a neutral panel preferably a less regional biases panel or any one outside india .. Mr murali Speaking Hindi and watching Chak de is not patriotism... Those who dont speak Hindi are not triators...
Hard and sicere workers are true patriots than hindi speaking people..

why feeling so much hurt burn and chanting anti-national? can't u learn to stay united? why do you find doing separatist activities more easier than learnign hindi? why you are so arrogant that you see mother toungue of couuntry different way? why it is so easy to divide we indian on any petty issue like region and language? Borther you have learnt to write and speak in english but you are still uneducated and supporting all thsoe who are working day and night against national integrity for their personal beenfit. Your identity is getting limited and smaller every day, and your language relfects that!

Well Murali. I agree with some of your points. But Sam's point is justified. Indian cinema is not Just BOLLYWOOD..there more than that..Its just Bollywood is more popular. But we need to blame the organizers for naming it as indian film festival but not Bollywood film festival.
and FYI..iam not here for another north south divide. Hindi is not the mother tounge of our country. It is just one another official language thats it. Get ur facts right first

You also need to get your facts right. Murli mentioned mother tongue instead of National language. That is all but you made a disgraceful statement by saying that it is just another official langauge. Well my friend, Hindi is our national language and not just another official language.
What is this Australian Indian film festival? Nobody has heard of this festival. I think the promoters of Yuck De!! have created a special category of awards ust to award SRK's movie as it is not worthy of even an entry in other categories. If any other film qualified for this unique Australian-Indian category then they would have created a new category like Australian-Indian-Hockey- best film award.
Anyway, I would not be surprised if #uck De!! was the sole entry in this award.
The year is not over, yet they started giving awards for this yr.Gr8 bollywood,keep it up.By the way,r this awards for movies shot in land of Oz? Then,Chak De will be a winner.
wonderfull movie for Business School. Movie described about the managment and leadership. merely managers cannot lead the team of the business / family there is a huge need of leadership. if we want to have more successful relationships with your customers, your family and your friends, look at things from the person's perspective
Now what is this new baby India Australian??? Chack De was a good story movie perhaps due to it's real life root..but this new award ceremoney just makes me amused as how many more award functions we need? May be from tomorrow every colony in India will start givign awards..we ahve not passed even a compelte year then how this award can be given to Chack De? I felt that Guru and Kabul Express were much better than ChackDe. Chack De got thsi award perhaps not for the quality but for the fact that the movie has been shotted majorly in Australisa. So it does not matter at all to win this award as no other Indian movie was shooted in Australia this year! Silly things..must be another marketting and brokering effort by Shahrukh Khan to keep himself in limelight. Really pathetic this guy has gone...had he concentrated more over acting..he would be getting awards genuinely isntead of by borkerage and manipulation with bigwigs and media!

No eby it is called it Australian-Bollywood Film Festival, as only Hindi movies participated and won the awards
