the story is good but the plot was not directed well... there is no thrill or excitement in the revenge part. i hate mahesh babu's acting.... all the time he is angry and starts beating everyone including brahmanandam and sunil... his style is only beating others... even in comedy scenes he keeps beating people..he doesnt know how to be funny...
in all his movies he always looks angry....that is his only style which looks stupid. but in this movie he did well compared to pokiri and other movies.... but i give only 2 stars to this movie. CHIRUTHA is the movie of this year.....new comer charan has soo much talent. he looks simple, not soo angry and soft , gentle guy...charan's dancing is wonderful and his voice is just like his dad....i suggest every1 to watch chirutha rather than stupid movies like happy days or athidi...

Stranger, The good thing is that you watched the movie. The bad thing is that telugus are in first place to criticize of their own telugu movies. You should learn a lot from Tamilians. See, how they produced a junk movie like Sivaji and successfully marked it world over.
You should understand onething, there are good and bad about each and every movie. Try to appreciate Mahesh babu, if you can, for his hardwork and his desire to make rich telugu movies. His movies are far better than the movies in other south Indian languages. We telugu people appreciate tamil movies which are made with unncessary twists and mindless screenplay.

Movie shows what a stupid hero Mahesh Babu is. He is a complete myth propped by the media. He can barely act to save his life. It is ironical that he is even being called an "actor" and being touted as the next biggest thing in telugu cinema.

Totaman, You are very harsh on Mahesh babu. If you are interested in his movies, leave it. But, please don't publicly and unncessarily criticize telugu movies or telugu stars. They are far better than the junk available in the market.

he is not the next biggest thing.Mahesh is the biggest thing and the actor who can truly take telugu cinema to the world(other states)..look at his movies being dubed or remade into malayalam,hindi,kannada n tamil.Ban chiru fans from this site!
Even be it a entertainer, it require some new and clear script. It is missing in this movie and lot of logical hitches. Pokkiri was far good to be a complete entertainer.
Guys did you note that there is a Oulta element of Pokkiri in this movie. The villian is a gangster actaully but doing a role of Polic Commissioner which is revealed later.
Using lens guns and hand-held launchers for mere things that to for a target of 10-15 meter is tooooo baseless.
Good script is what viewers expect and hope mahesh finds it out for his next venture.
