Mr.Maxx whom are you calling nothing- the person who won 4 national awards, got international acclaim, has got the offer to compose for Oscar winnig film Lord of the Rings? Can you even think Himesh getting all these honours. AR Rehman is favourite among all the gr8 filmmakers. And Himesh, only favourite of only c grade filmmakers. And RD Burman,Laxmikant PyareLal, Rd Burman, Kalyanji AnandJi etc. has they ever got National awards, forget international awards. I think Mr.Maxx you are a big fool who loves c-grade films music only.

Stop being a hypocrite by trying to defame the God of Modern Indian Music [ARR... of course not Himesh!]. Else if u really find his music bad ... :( cant help it; u belong to those class of minorities who lack a sense of taste!!... You cant help it!
Himesh obviously stands nowhere near Rahman. For that matter, Rahman himself stands nowhere near Ilaiyaraja. Rahman may be the best in bollywood, but in his homestate (TN) he has immense competition from Haris Jeyaraj, Karthik Raja, etc.
Rahman's music have the shock-and-awe effect. But they are not evergreen. After 2 yrs if you listen to his songs, they suck. Ilaiyaraja's music have withstood time, and even after 20-30 yrs, you will still love them.
